Who would buy custom homemade skis?

If we look past startup and tooling costs, you can certainly build a pair of skis around that $150 mark. Personally my stuff rings in around the $200 CDN mark. But if you're building production quality, fully custom skis, prices skyrocket. New templates, new moulds, topshheet graphics (huge cost if custom), your personal time, all among other things. It all adds up on top of those material costs. So rolling stuff out for that 200-300 mark will be tough if your truly doing custom skis.
