haha, yeah, i still dont understand how they dont break. if u land on the tips seems like theyd snap or snap you ankles. just cardboard, housing wire, and duct tape worked good till they got hella floppy. ive been lookn for a more permenant solution.

 
i dont have a vid cam that i can post vids with or else i would have already. i use skate shoes and they just fall of when you land on the tips. when you land on the tails you just end up on your ass or back, no harm done. and why would they break? they are made out of 3/4 inch plywood, they build houses out of this shit, it aint no joke these skis are heavy. they only weigh an ounce less than my skogens. they dont break on crashing i promise you. the only way i can see them breaking is if you happen to fall of the trampoline with them still on and land on your tips but ive got a net so i wouldnt know. mine broke from jumping after two months. they snapped in the middle and they are still really stiff and work fine. ive used them for a month snapped in half and no troubles.

snonasty owns, and I will tell you why you aren't gonna skip the 33 bucks or whatever. Mainly, because he has already done this a few times. He didn't just magically make a pair. He has tested them and knows what works the best. Chances are good the first pair you would make would suck. Then you woudl have to buy all the stuff again and start over. Anyway, he's got a system, I am sure he didn't just think of bs in a minute to write down so ppl would buy his product. Bleh

during the winter i just used my skis and ski boots on the tramp, it didnt do anyting bad

yeah but if you use ski boots you can't jump worth shit and its scary he's a little story... like 3 or 4 years ago my buddy travis and i were tramping at his house in the summer and then we put his skis on and were getting like 3 double bounces in a row then do a trick and i did i 3 mute and slipped out and his ski shot stait at he face and he barley knocked it outta the way... anyways if you gonna make um ill buy a pair cause ir sounds like you know what your doing.

yeah i was surprised as well. im getting a little impatient on Harvey though. i sent him a PM regarding this thread like three or four days ago, ive seen him on a few times as well and he still hasnt gotten back to me. i know hes a busy guy but still. and im gonna try and get down to home depot and pick up some half inch plywood. its probabaly easier to get used to cuz its lighter and whippyer but it might not hold up against the flex and just snap. but if they do work then im gonna go with the half inch cuz its cheaper and like i said before its lighter so they would be easier to get used to.

why can't you just cover the edges of your own skis or some junk skies with duck tape and it would be the same, exept you save 50 bucks
