alpine and sqaw are open. did any one hit up those. alpines site said they had a table top jump and a hip. where did u guys go and how was it?

skier 1 ' have you seen those new skis with the tips in the front and back yet'

skier 2 'no but I heard about those things'

Skier 1 ' yeah I don't see why they would want tips in the back...maybe they are try'n to copy those stupid snowboarders or something like that'

skier 2 'Yeah seems like kind of a stupid idea.'

went to kirkwood.. had a few rails set up and a box.. the snow was pretty good.. they had alot of decent terrain open so it wasnt bad overall.. we'll see how it is next weekend

I've been to boreal a few times but I'm getting sick of paying and northstar isn't open yet, it;s like the last place to open and thats where I got my pass...damnit.

northstars park is alright, but the mountain terrain sucks there. its just like an east coast mountian. You shoulda got the alpine pass for the same price.

Damn, all you guys diss Northstar but have you ever been there? If you know where to go at Northstar the mountain is hella sick. It has some nice off piste skiing, some nice cliffs and a bunch of cornices that you can huck off of. Also, their park is pretty good and it is just getting better. Northstar usually has the first half-pipe open every year and their superpipe is usually cut to perfection.

Also, I need to add something. I just got the new issue of Freeskier today and in their guide to the best skiing. Northstar is rated #10 in the world for the best terrain park.

 
i went skiing last weekend and the weekend before that and it was pretty good, i was at bear Mountain and they have a few little jumps, some rollers and a bunch of jibs. ya'll should check us out.

na, that wasn't me, plus the fact that I am a girl. I didn't see anyone up there on Saturday who was doing that, but there were a few good people out there.

 
Haha, ok I was a lil confused on that part. but yeah my friend said he saw some guy do crazy shit on rails and he skied and he did one backflip over the rail and wreck on another try. By the way were are you gonna ski this year and how old are you?
