who wears pole straps?

too hard to carry skis and poles when hiking in the park. straps are always helpful.

no, they just dangle. The only time i wear them is on a lift if i am doing something and i cant risk dropping my poles, so i put them around... but i dont when i am skiing.

pole straps are so in. they help you plant them poles. they also make it easy to retrieve them if you yardsale because they're dangling off of your wrist.

i wear the straps all the time. even though i've gotten caught on trees a couple times. not the smartest thing to do to my arm but oh well. you only live once.

wouldnt feelright without them, but i do take them off in the trees. my dad just got poles with releaseable straps so he can wear them in the trees and apparently they pop off if they get caught

holy steeze GOODE's Inter-Loc system, the sickest things EVERR. i never wore straps, but this system is so sick and so comfortable and so easy...i love it. it doesn't seem like something practical to try, but it really is cool. the gloves are so dope also. they don't look super cool, but i have frostbitten fingers, and they are the only winter gloves that have kept me warm. the pipe/spring gloves don't look the coolest either, and they are so alsmot water-proof and dope.

i wear them all mountain but not in the park because when i was up at coc some kid fell and his strap spiral fractured like half his hand... id rather hike back up and get them. I should prolly get some leashes for my skis though... i had to go searth for them couple weeks ago when i fell in the deep stuff, they ended up under undisturbed snow... it was silly

 
i always wear my straps i just keep the strap really lose so their easy to take off and on so its cool, and im really lazy so if im on the chair i can let go and they dont fall so i can just chill.

I always wear them, just loose enough that they stay on when i take a digger. And the one time I go out west a year I wear them in the trees...they haven't gotten hooked for me. I take them off going up the lift though....

I have never worn poll straps. On my current polls the traps arent even fastened together. Its just two cords dangling in teh wind

i advise ne1 who here skis park not to wear straps..... staps =instant thumb breakage when crashing i broke my thumb twice doing this so i have concluded never to wear poll straps when skiing park again!

TRY EVERYTHING EVEN IF IT MEANS KICKING YOUR OWN ASS
 
as of yesterday, if i wear straps in the park its the leki trigger glove straps, cause they dont tweak your thumb like the regular ones did to me, but for just skiing, definately

 
i use straps cause i hate catching them on some pow or something and having to hike back up to get them

I tore my thumb with the strap years ago, ended my day. hurt like a bitch. BUt i always wear my pole straps, so they pole plant better, and dont make a yard sale when you bail
