I do. I don´t know about over there but in Europe helmets are a big trend. so is avalanche-beepers and shovels.

everyone have 'em, look at me, I´m a hardcore offpist-skier, but i never leave the pist. well, it´s probably the most healthy trend ever so no complaints.

what´s so funny about peace, love and understanding?

Always wear mine. A few mild hits to the head aint bad though depending on how you look at it. Everytime you smack your head or catch a buzz for that matter you are killing brain cells. The way I look at it is that you have so many only the weak ones are dying. So you are actually making yourself smarter by killing off the weak ones. Sort of like natural selection. This theory works a lot better to explain why you drink a lot.

Well... depends on the weather. If it's warm and dry, i usually dont wear anything on my head except for goggles cause I get too hot. But if its under 30 or snowing or raining, i'll wear my helmet. I must admit, it has saved me a few times too. I wish mine wasnt so shitty and didnt make me so hot.

awesome see my review. fits me perfect, doesn´t even feel like you´re wearing a helmet and it is warm at minus 25 degrees celsius. from a distance it doesn´t even look like you´re wearing a helmet and close-up it looks good.

so why risk braindamage to look a little cooler?

yup... but, i only started cause i make my kids wear one so i had to lead by example. now that i've been wearing one for a while i prefer it.

I think skier X and Phat Tim need a couple of helmets, they have definately fallen a few to many times on there heads! They think there the shit. They are a little delerious

 
After three concusions my parents bought me one. I was a little reluctant at first, but after the first day I wore it I have never thought about not wearing it unless its like 40 degrees out. After listening to bill johnson after him having brain damage, it seems there is no incentive not to wear one.

I actually have two because you can never be too safe. one of them is the gyro with the removable face guard but i never take it off. that shit can actually protect you from more concussions and keep your face pretty like J-Mo.

I do when im either racing or running gates... but ya.. who ever said the part about making their kids wear one is so true the kids i teach arent allowed to hit kickers without one...

But I think it was Steve who said about in the rain or heavy snow so true.. nice to come in with a dry head....;)

I always do, my parents threatened to not let me go skiing for a year if they found out i wasn't wearing it. But i would wear in anyways.

I got one after a concusion last year. it has saved me from alot of concusions or death this year

 
I wear a helmet when riding park, mainly because it's madatory but I'm kind of used to it now. I certainly don't mind wearing it. but when I'm hikin pipe I usually don't.

I have a Giro 9, very nice helmet.

i wear mine now. i never wore it before because it was way too cold, and it didnt come with ear flaps. but its slowly getting warmer out there, so i wear it. only saved me once on a messed up 3.

i always wear mine. its really warm open up some vents for when it is warm they are bad when it get to be like 45+ way to hot

I got mine for like $50 bucks. It feels just like a hat, but newschooler was right about it becoming hot. If I'm working really hard and sweating, my head starts to itch so that kind of sucks. I'm glad Ii wear a helmet though, because i've already slapped it hard against a metal rail where my head would have hit, and landed right on it on a backflip attempt.

 
I wear a helmet and it is a sexy one too! Full faced baby!!! Tak know's what I'm talking about... it's a downhill mountain bike lid... the giro mad max numero 2! I feel like such a sissy with it on though... I can't hurt myself anymore and the pretty girls in the lift line can't see my beautiful face!

Speaking of helmets, I was driving down the highway one time and I passed an Asian family in a honda accord. They all had bike helmets on in the car. The mom the dad and the two kids in the back. I almost got in an accident because I was laughing to hard to drive. Other than the site of it the funniest part was that the helmets were those styrofoam ones you can get at Walmart for like 10 bucks. What are those going to do in a 65 mph crash?
