Who wants to live in a haunted house in lake tahoe

Dude what the fuck. Is that a sliding door that goes out to the garage?

Im guessing thats some weird add-on mother in law unit installed down stairs or something...

as for the fashionista living there with all the mannequins... whoever is selling this place seriously needed to wait for people to move out before taking photos and putting this shit on the market. Thats going to drop the interest and value by a good clip.

Bruh that could be you

Maybe it's you but you're accusing to deflect that it is you. And that's your house and you posted here to get free advertising. Truth.

I was thinking of purchasing it because of the mannequins. I'm lonely and work nights. Plus with covid I feel it would give my life a sort of I am legend vibe.

How is that a $650k house?! for 2,100 square feet? That's asinine.

My real estate market mind is so skewed... it seems like a pretty good deal to me?!?

Too bad Heavenly is trash because this is 5 minutes walk from the village gondola.

My house in NY is bigger with more land and was only $199k lmfao

The craziest part is that this place will sell over the asking price to some yahoo from the bay. Probably in cash too. The Reno/Tahoe real estate market is fucked

The land that house is on is worth about 95% of the price, literal piles of shit sell for a million in PC.

That’s absurd. I couldn’t imagine dropping that kind of money just to be in a good location. I mean I’ll pay more for a good location but that much? Fuck that lol

People spending that much on real estate are just investing, they got more money than they know what to do with.

"Easiest way to make money is to already have money"

In Nelson,BC not only would that house sell in a day, the buyers would even add another 100,000$ to get it first. Everyone moving here is from Vancouver, selling 2 million dollar home, their parents gave to them in 1970s worth 75,000$. So these rich retierees make it rain with cash, clog up the medical system and drive like chimpanzees

you think the mannequins come with the house? only way im buying is if they are included and have holes in the anal region

I live just south of Buffalo

Tuffalo is not bad. Good to know a house there can be had at a reasonable price.

I was in Vermont probably 10-11 years ago and there was a beautiful stone cottage from the 1790s or something on a couple acres of rolling hills, quintessential dairy country, for sale at $189K I seriously considered moving across the country and buying some cows.

Vermont real estate is such a danger to me. I’ve window-shopped enough VT houses on Zillow that they send me emails now and over the last year I’ve seen the projected prices of every county going up by 6-9% ???

Yeah i find all that old pc shit disgusting. If i live in a cold alpine climate i want a modern enough house to have good modern insulation so it doesnt cost 10k a winter to heat.

theres some modern 3 million dollar houses in pc and dv and breck and key and vail that cost less to heat than a typical 300k poorly insulated historic shithole that bleeds heat out of its walls/windows than like milfhunters vagina.

A big part of the fun of the mountains is having a warm cozy place to sleep in.

The way i look at it, either you are close enough to ski in ski out ability that you can walk the asphalt or concrete in your boots without wearing the soles down considerably yr after yr. Of course you could buy new boots but thats 500$ and you dont even know if new boots will fit as well as your own ones bc molds sometimes get altered and its not always an improvement.

but if i had to walk over a football field from the slopes, i might as well be a mile or a bus ride away because i would just throw cat tracks on my boots and then i wouldnt care.

youre always going to get fleeced being really close to the slopes tho. Bc for alot of gapers walking in ski boots is hard.

Did the small town of Montgomery blow up? I stayed there a few days in 2010. Such a cool little town at the base of Jay Peak. Big ups to the ski shop owner stay in the loft for cheap... then gave me lift tickets.

I’m not familiar with Montgomery, but probably not because it looks too far away for New Yorkers and Bostonians to take over ? I’ll have to check it out someday tho, I love a good small town vibe

California prices. Honestly surprised it’s not higher just based on location. I’m paying $1500 a month next year just to share a room in sb
