after looking over the site, they looked very organized and serious, but reading their reaons for impeachment.... I can only laugh at it for the ignorance they show towards the US government. linemaverick.... a bunch of high ranking officials in the area (of iraq) have stated that they have little doubt that Saddaam acted quickly to get rid of the evidence (which he HAS been proven to do with other things). the weapons weren't the only reason we went there. we went to (as bush states TOO MUCH) liberate their people, to save them from an opressive dictator who has killed uncountable numbers of people. there was also a little pressure since the UN was unable to do their job correctly, so the US stepped in. I don't agree that we should've, but I agree with the fact taht something needed to be done. I'm happy it happened.

i would assume that you do.. we as canadians have no say in the sovereign working of the US. also, when you go to vote, it asks, among other things, for your state, and is a mandatory field.

if you feel that the site displays ignorance, email them stating your concern.

*Panamanian conflict- columbia wouldnt let us build a canal, so we blockaded columbia

*cuban revolution- a foreign ambassador insulted the president, and the media played up what was happening in cuba

*kosovo- clinton's wife couldnt satisfy

alright.... take away the US for a 2nd..... Hitler and the nazi party take over europe, then move on to asia. pretty soon the world is over run with death camps. the rest is left to our imagination.

technology would be 10 years behind what it is now (at least). the US was teh biggest out exportuing country until the discovery of oil in the mioddle east, so that would be gone.

lots of medical research wouldn't have taken place.

Granted, without manye countries, some things wouldn't have happened, but hell, you cannot for one second think the US is a bunch of good for nothing arrogant sons of bitches... with out the US, the would would have drumbled a long long time ago.

getting into economics, greenspan and others need to take environmental degradation and depletion of natural resources into account when formulating gdp.. otherwise it's a completely meaningless statistic.

'911 runied the economy'.. so the solution is to continue the antagonization of those that preach different lifestyles?

'canada is the us' bitch' - your population is ten times the size of ours.. it's inevitable that we would succumb to economic pressures of yours.. other than that, we have a somewhat distinct culture, so i really don't believe we are your 'bitch'.

i'm not saying the US is evil, just that given the current situation, serious amendments have to be made - the status quo must be challenged and changed. eisenhower's final address as president in 1961 warned against what was then the new danger of 'an immense military establishment and a large arms industry'. someone in or near the whitehouse may want to look into what eisenhower was getting at before the american empire continues the destruction of our species.
