Who thinks northstar sucks?

when i went to northstar, i vowed to never go back.... so many kids that dont ski park just loitering in the fuckin park.... liftlines up the asshole and its just a fuckup how evveryone has to take up 1 gondola!
 
I don't, moonshine and pinball have great parks and there is never anyone sitting on the runs. As long as you stay out of the park underneath Vista chair there shouldn't be much to complain about.
 
Why do people hate on Nstar. Are you just jealouse that the park is soo good. I guess a lot of people hate it because they only ski there on the weekend. During the week it's a whole different ball game. It's pretty much all locals and the liftlines are way shorter. Sure the park can still be a little crowded but it's still one of the best parks in the world (yes the world, check out every resort guide put out in the last year) so it's totally worth it.
 
weekday skiing there is pretty rad, but the weekends have way to many bay area kids who think they can shred but can only do straight airs.......not to mention the asians
 
I wouldnt avoid it, the park is pretty impressive to at leaste witness and shred for a day. The lines will probobly drive you away by the end of the day, but you'll still have a blast when your actually skiing. They have so much crazy shit all over the place its like disneyland for people who slide on snow instead of walk.
 
not sure right now because of all the snow. The jumps will all be rebuilt and the landing rewinched. That wont happen will it stops snowing, before it snowed there were some decent jumps off lost dutchmans chair although I prefer the jumps at Alpine more.
 
yeah right before it snowed the jumps were really nice. before that the either had to much pop and not enough landing or not enough pop and to much table. but then the y just hooked the place up! I like it almost as much as Keystones parks
 
dude northstar is sick, there park is amazing, and once you get into the more advanced park the gapers go away, they tend to stay in the intermediate parks from my experience. i also was a fan of the pipe, it was smooth and not over ridden. next time i'm in tahoe, i'll try boreal, i'm partial to a chair called dutchman seeing as i am one.
 
northstar sucks but not as much as alpine. honeslty, dont go to alpine, its fucking gay, i hear heavanly has a sick park
 
quit all your hating, if it haas snow, a bump to get some air, and metal/plastic substance known as a rail, than it doesnt suck
 
Heavenly has a nice park... that is almost always tracked out from the traffic and loaded with gapers.

Its no better than Northstar...

Just screw them all and go to Sierra.
