So I went to this German restaurant in Springfield MA tonight, and I was shocked when I saw this on the menu.

I was really tempted to try it, but I figured you probably can't get quality ostrich this time of year so I got the wiener schnitzel instead.

Well this is embarrassing. Here I was, all ready to tell NS about ostrich meat and I failed. Oh well it was just a picture of the menu. People eat ostrich apparently.

in south africa we have a thing called biltong which is dried meat kinda like jerky, but not the same thing. we make it outta ostriches all the time.

i the fuck eat ostriches.

It's really good. I have had it before. Although I did have the mad shits a couple hours after I ate it. Might have been from something else at the restaurant though.

don't worry about it, happens to the best of us
ive seen ostrich on menus in a variety of places, ive had it before in facti don't find it to be obscenely strange or weird, its just like alot of other animals that youve never eaten before, it seems weird that people eat it.if i recall it was pretty good too

its solid iv had it before at this resteraunt thing is that its a pretty normal resteraunt then this one speical just came outof the blue i got it and turned out to be rpetty good

my parents told me about a place in florida that was serving dolphin. seems cruel to eat an intelligent animal...

just want to make it clear that their are 2 types of dolphin

1 the one that i have on my pillow case and trapper binder

2 this fish that kinda looks like tuna and it absolutely hidious

ostrich steak is really good, there is absolutely no fat in it.

you from SA? have you ever tried kudu or gemsbok steak? i was in SA for 2 months a few summers ago and loved it, we visited 5 diff countries on a safari my dad and i planned out, so much fun. we were basically all alone in the wild at some points which was pretty crazy.

they were serving dolphinfish also known as mahi mahi

not the mamal, which would most likely be illegal and not taste nearly as good

i've been to this super sketchy range road diner off some sketchy ass side street in meaford, they served crocodile, musk ox, and deer on the menu.weirdest place i've been...

a LOT of people eat deer, and a lot of people in the south eat crocodile. musk ox, I've never had, but it's basically like eating cow or bison I'd imagine.

just because you don't eat it doesn't mean it's weird.

i tried the crocodile, it was pretty good
and i dont exactly remember if it was deer.. but it was something like that

Well I am German, and thats fucking wierd that they had Ostrich at a german restaurant. But there's this place in Davis Murde Burger (Redrum know) and they have an Ostrich burger. Its pretty good. THe burger place is right across from in and out, you guys should go check it out if your driving through or something.

i ate ostrich at a restaurant near schweitzer, ID, and its super good. but it has to be thoroughly cooked, my friend ordered some but his was pretty rare and looked sooo gross, but mine was more medium well and it was awesome

there is a great place to eat in Boston, actually north of boston called La Stenza Diva. There game menu has all types of crazy stuff on it. Ostrich, Kangroo, Wild Boar, Bison, Alligator... I am not a huge fan of Alligator or Kangroo but Ostrich is not bad. Venision is great,

if your interest in the place I was talking about here is the site
