i had to bike to work today.. and i was like ok, so i just locked my bike up (with 2 locks to be safe) and when i came out after my shift was done someone jacked my spedometor thing and my seat. im fucking pissed. First off its an expensive bike.. 650 bucks Specialized hardrock and i had to bike home with no seat, now i have to go buy a seat. god damnit.. who steals a seat.. honestly?
 
i remember at my junior high on the first day of school, they all told us to bring in our bike seats and accessories, because they were more often stolen than the actual bikes themselves.

was it a quick release because i know a guy whos seat got stolen and it was one of the ones were u have to undo a bolt to get it off and as for the ridein with no seat i had my seat snap off in the middle of a race
 
probably because its a pro disc..and yours probably has a rst fork and dual v brakes while he has a mz 3 or mz comp and dual disc brakes
 
when i wus elementary i used to find tacks in my tires and i ahd to bike a few neighborhoods to get home that sad thing is that it happened 5 times!!!!!

hehehe there are so many stolen bikes in my city if you call the cops about it they just laugh in your face and point at you and laugh some more. At ever bike lock there are bikes stripted to bare frames, every thing is stolen.

that sucks ass...but honestly, no offence, it would be pretty funny to see a guy riding a bike with no seat. Where do you work? like in a bad part of town or something?
 
i lost a skewer from my rear wheel so i walked out to the bike rack next to my dorm and took one of some other kids bike.....that'll happen
 
i actually want to hold a stake(sp? wtf?) out and just bust someones balls open big time with a hammer or something.
 
the same thing happend to me yesterday, except we were at wendies my bike wasnt locked up and all they took was my seat outa the 3 bikes that were there.

supposably that shit happens all the time at uvm or at least thats what the tour people said. i saw like no exageration 5 bikes along the tour with either no seat or like no handle bars and shit.

not that different... it's only the disc edition, but that bike still sucks because it's always breaking!
