Who started skiing on skiboards?

Lol I started on like 100cm racing skis and that was like 3 months ago =) on scratch 167s now or 168 cant remember

i totally was a hardcore rollerblader in 6th grade and when my cousin wanted to take us up to mt. hood to try skiing for the first time i went to go rent a snowboard and then i was like hey these are like rollerblades. so glad i started on snowbladers otherwise i'd be a snowboarder right now probably. haha i used to think it was cool... silly me.

yea I started on those like 4 years ago. then I found a pair of old ass straight rossi's to use and liked them soo much more.

i think he means snowblades. or at least, thats what i call them. yeah, i had a pair for a season. then i grew up and realized, full size skis are way cooler.

hahahha YESSSS

started on boards, learned how to grind a mailbox after 1341023412 tries my 2nd year skiing abouuut 5 years ago, good times

Classic!

But I don't know if I would ever admit to snowlerblading. Thank God I never have done it.

You guys are brave to 'fess up!

Yup, I started last year on skiboards. I ended up snapping one pair in half and the second pair I ended up denting the edge so bad I gave up hope on them (oh yeah, and I wasn't even doing rails, so I have no clue how the dent happened). I mean, honestly, they're fun and I wouldn't mind riding them once in a while. Since it seems a good percentage of newschoolers started on skiboards, why all the hate?

wow dude i wasn't going to post in this due to intense shame, but exact fucking same thing happened to me.

throwing one of my first 3's get stuck at 180, land on my tips, feel both my tib and fib crack..."dude is my boot brokwn, because if it isn't i think my leg is.."...fucking death machines

I skiboarded then stopped when they took it out of the Xgames! just like anyone who was ILL at skiboarding 5-6 years ago.
