Who skis with mostly snowboarders?

Me most of my friends board so I usually one of the only skiers but its not bad if anything it adds more creativity to my run cause I see what there doing and I kinda wanna try it on skis and they see me do something and they want to do it on a board its pretty sick
 
Me, my friends are good (rodes, flips and what not) but i hate it because it takes 30 fucking minutes to strap in
 
i have two more skier friends this year, but last year i was practically the only one. its not terrible but it sucks waiting at the top fro them to strap up. us skiers, were so used to standing up, skiing down the off ramp, and going down the trail.
 
I'm originally a snowboarder who rode with a ton of skiers last year, so I taught myself how to ski mid-season last year. Now I just want to ski all the time, and a lot of my friends are borders.
 
It's me and a couple boarders, but they respect that I can shred rails and same with them. Skiing with boarders = more compliments (that's sick, insane, etc.) Skiing with skiers = more fun IMO. And having a couple boarders makes it fun to do a little switcheroo every once in a while.
 
i ski with boarders only, kinda sucks. i feel like i'd push myself more if i had someone to compare to.
 
There's only two other kids in my school that ski and they suck but I ski with my friend but he doesn't do park
 
i used to but now theres mostly skiers at my local hill. as long as they're a friend i could care less whether they ski or snowboard.
 
Me. Though since I moved its been more skiers, which is pretty sick, as I dont miss my buds having to tighten there bindings every 2 to 3 runs
 
me unfortunately.. i'm the only skier in my group of friends and i always wish i would have somebody else to ride with consistently that skis. like someone said above, if you ski with somebody else it will be easier to progress
 
Thats exactly how i feel when i skis with them. They have to sit down, put theirbootin, strap it up, blah blah blah. We usually end up leaving them
 
About 50/50... Us skiers usually leave the boarders behind about halfway through the day though.

Last year I was one of the only skiers, but a lot of my friends switched to skiing this year.
 
every snowboarder i ride with is strapped in in literally under 10 seconds, every single time. they dont sit down either. you're not cool for leaving your friends, if it takes that long just hike a rail or some shit while you're waiting.
 
Bad in middleschool i was the only skier in my crew with about 5 boarders... Now my main crew consists of just skiers but i still ride with some boarders when i see them
 
usually the lone skier with 3 boarders. last year was the first season without skiers around me and my style changed a bunch. i like having a different style than others.
 
Almost always skiing with boarders, blows, not only is it waiting for them to get into the bindings, its also listening to why "these" bindings don't work worse than the last bindings that didn't work.

Also sucks cause I'm just starting to head into the park more and I've really got no one to work on shit with.
 
50% of the time I ride with 1 or 2 boarders.

50% of the time I ride with like 10+ skiers.
 
I sometimes ride with 2 of my friends, both good boarders. But mostly I ski with park rats... Honestly would rather ride trees with boarders. Recently I have been riding with the skiers that own and work at one of the local shops, so I agree that when you ride with people who like the same stuff you do, and are at your level or better, you progress so much faster.
 
all snowboarders in my crew but i dont mind because they always try to compare themselves to eachother and say "i'm better at ___________" and i would hate to always be competing with another skier
 
so you're calling me a hardass for waiting for my friends? and calling someone a doucher for not doing so? explain that please, i dont understand where you're coming from...
 
me! i have one other skier with me...it sucks when your at the top and you have to wait for them but other then that they are ok except they dis on "2 plankers" all the time.
 
ahah theres like 12091349 more snowboarders than skiers. theres like 4 skiers so ya hahai always ride with boarders
 
I'm the only one that skis out of my friends. Everyone else snowboards. And def the only one of my friends that freestyle (/claim) skis.
 
its pretty funny going skiing on pow days with snowboarders because they rely on skiers quite heavy to break trail for traverses and on the flat. they are so useless without us. imagine having to boot pack out of the flats on a pow days in waist deep instead of traversing... ugh
 
mt hood is 70 % snowboard 30% skiers of that 30% like 10% are good skiers. park or powder..

so i ski with more snowboarders... ... does not really phase me.
