Yeah, I'm going to get a pass there for this winter, but I know no one who skis there, since I was at Winter Park last winter. Help me out, I don't want to ski alone...

I'll be there with 800 or so other UC students december 14-21. we'd (my friends and I) love to ski with some locals who know the area.

I live on main street in breck and ski there almost everyday. One of the best parks in the world. Should be a record season for snowfall according to the farmers almanac!

cool, anyone who is starting newschool lately also(last year or so) would be great because I've just been skiing pow and backcountry, and pretty much suck at park and pipe.

I'm not starting, but breck is a great place to learn, there are lots of people I ride with who are just beginning.

if your getting a pass there don't just limit yourself to breck, abasin is pretty sick too.

I like my boots like i like my women, rear entry.

you can just get the 5 mountain pass and ride wherever you want... tonsa people ride at breck and vail an stuff.

Didn't a basin get out of the grasp of vail this year? We were talking to some patrollers there this year and that's what they were telling us, because our tickets were working goofy. When A Basin has a strong base, man that place rules, it's probably my favorite place I've skied and it doesn't even have a park.

i cant decide...like i love brecks park and goin to vail and shit...but i might goto copper this year, just cause its like all around...i dunno what do u guys think

gt rides for copper, but is at breck whenever i go. i usually get there about once a year for a week or so

'He got fired? What did he do?'

yeah, i know all the other cool areas around here, this will just be my first year gettin a pass to breck, and i don't know anyone there. i was wondering if i even should get a pass there because when i went to breck last year a couple times, all the skiers there were pricks, and were takin themselves too seriously. this is good newws.

i ski all the vail resorts a lot, so if you ever want to meet up message me. hopefully the snow year won't suck ass like the past 5 or so. Abasin got approval the use snow making, and they said that they hope to provide year round skiing next year, if condition allow it, which would be sweet.

dude its super easy to ride with people at breck....if u just chill in the park theres a lotta tight people

Ill be ridin there. As for snowmaking, It doesnt look like ANY CO resort will be making snow, theres almost no water in the resevoirs.

If you skied wp last year you will be seriously disappointed by breck unless you just want to sit around in the park all day. Other than the park Breck has only a few good runs (off teh T-bar) and that means waiting in line for half an hour then skiing on tracked out snow. Sitll the Colorado card is a good deal because its a good value at such expensive resorts for day passes. I ususally go to Vail the 10 times thats allowed, then a basin about 10 times in the spring, and breck a couple of times. I also go to wp about 10 times a year and might buy a pass there this year. Its definitely as good as breck or even vail w/o the crowds (except on busy weekends) and with better snow.
