WHO SKIED SQUAW TODAY???

I'm up here and there's about 1.5-2 feet of pow lying on the ground at Alpine. I didn't ski, but I saw people skinning up and talked to a few after they came down. Said Deer Camp was deep but some rocks were protruding, and that Yellow had good deep coverage.

Didn't talk to anyone who skied squaw but I'm sure someone did

Squaw today was fuckin sick! Red Dog was open and 4 feet of blower pow had people getting stuck all over, was fucking AWESOME!

LOLZ
no wax yet...silly people.

My house in Squaw is currently buried in snow.
I'll be delighted to head up there once my wisdom teeth are removed and the painkillers kick in, allowing me to ski without feeling my mouth.

nothing to do with wax, everything to do with 4 feet of blower powder.

There were a lot of lawn darts. The popular options were:

1) get stuck in waist deep pow, spend 5 minutes digging out and then get stuck 5 feet further

2) get stopped in waist deep pow, but going fast enough to stop head first with your feet on the air and your head on the ground

3) same as option 2, but DIN low enough to double eject. Search for skis next ten minutes, do not pass go, do not collect $200

Seriously that deep. Awesome.

I'm an Alpine passholder, but I hit up squaw every now and again to see what's up. In my opinion, it was worth the $50 dollars for the thrill of skiing 4 feet of pow lift served on Nov. 21, but there was not $50 worth of terrain or even coverage available.

Squaw was super epic today. Didn't film with the GoPro until later after things tracked out a little in the trees but I put a few clips together. Super deep! Awesome way to start off the season and more on the way!

Today was awesome, bluebird pow days are second only to storm pow days. It was not bottomless, nor was it even all that deep, but it was more fun than I've had on skis in a long, long time. Awesome.

Saved a kids life under squaw creek lift on tuesday...pretty scary stuff....Ride safe and with a partner!

Hot laps in Broken Arrow were today's game. Hot not because they were all that fast, but because it was fucking hot. KT-22 should be open tomorrow morning so EVERYBODY go to Squaw! It's going to be awesome, and much better than Alpine for sure. (Don't go to Alpine!)
