I ski in summer just by building a setup with rails and stuff out of PVC and astroturf. But cool "landskis" anyway

^There is somethin like this allready man. I dont know if they are still in business, couldnt fins the site but they use to look like a pair of skis with roller blade wheels on em. MOre or less they were used as cross trainers for the summer. About 5 or 6 years ago they introduced a model that had a little "grind plate" on them for summer jibbing. Use to always want a pair of these 6 years ago sooo badly never had the funds though. Looked awesome minus how sketchy stopping would be, (they said you could hocky stop if you got good enough or t stop if you had to).

I designed a system to put brakes on them but never really got around to it. I've kind of given up on these now but I could update the designs a bit and post them on here if anyone wants to make their own ones. Any feedback on design features you'd want, maybe replace the steel with carbon but then they would be expensive or some sort of grind plate on the bottom they slide alright but could be better. And yeh bailing really sucks.

Hmm. Don't ever remember seeing those. I have always thought about attempting to build something like that but never got around to trying it. I remember there was a thread not too long ago where a kid said he was going to try to do it with rollerblade boots and skate trucks, but I don't remember him ever bumping it with a video of his success.
