Who rides Obsethed ski 2011 or 2012 chassis?

I am impatiently wiating for winter to start. Picked up the 2012 obsethed 189 this summer. Just looking for all reviews of fellow riders who have been on the 2011 or 2012 chassis! Specifically, what do you think of their performance through the bumps? When I'm not in the trees, or high alpine, the bumps are where I tend to be. Curious on what you all think of their versatility!

I love um, I ski the 179's but they ski like a 170 super short so tons of fun in the trees and bumps and anywhere you need to whip them around real fast like techy couloirs. They stomp drops no problem and I've gone well over 110km/h on them on the groomers. Not exactly the smoothest hardpack charger but still a pretty sick ass ski you'll have a good time on them. Thats the 2011/2012 btw

a friend of mine is a tiny chinese dude and he rips on '11 obsetheds which are taller than himself, park, pow, ripping lines through trees or straightlining down chutes, they seem to do it all for him ... he has other skis but last season i've only seen him ride his obsetheds ... he just adores them !

I had the 2012 ones and although I loved them when powder got bumpy their soft flex was less then ideal but for charging and just ripping groomers theyre amazing

Mod and rylee, thanks ! Keeping me stoked! Spent an hour last night just laying out my skis and placing bindings! Analyzing my + 2 mount mount option ( from traditional) ! They look so baddass, I can not wait! !!! Thanks for the tip on your slight negative comment in its softness and bumpiness in broken pow. Curious to see for myself, cause that is one area where I have read so many positive reviews on,,, that for as soft as the tips are, the firm camber underfoot really takes out all the bucking!

hell yea dude, this chassis is one of my favorites for sure. i made the 179 my touring setup, but i also shredded em as my daily in-bounds ski unless it was insanely hellbent deep or a park day.i mounted em +4 cause i like to ski switch, but in retrospect i would've probably wouldve pushed that back 1 or 2 cm and just devoted em to charging (if you have a quiver). that way you get more of the camber under the ball of your foot. but yea super fun skis, a lot of posts in this thread were pretty spot-on. here's a vid of when i took them out on a touring trip with my buddies (the other dude is on 189's, mine a '79)
