Who remembers this crash?

i cant believe he came back and is till one of the best in the world after his motercycle crash
 
SUCH a nuts crash. People shatter femurs going 1/10th that speed, and he crashed through like 9 speed gates. I suppose that's why they are there though.
 
I remember watching that live to. That doesnt even seem like it was that long ago. He destroyed all that b net too
 
even at 18 seconds, hes already at full speed, or really close to it for that matter. He probably just underestimated a roller and flew off of it
 
i definatly remember that whole downhill race, that was back when i was a racer and i was way way to into racing, that corner he crashed on was a bitch sooo many people DQ'd on it. I remember getting sick to my stomach watching that.

ps. he was definatly at full speed becuase the first part of the course was this huge drop that just catapulted the racers into that tight icy curve.
 
he didn't underestimate it. he was taking a tighter line than everyone else ( wanted to go faster) and that close to the gate there was a lip and he hit off balance and the rest is history.

Oh yeah and the saftey nets aren't supposed to stop you they are just supposed to slow you down.
