Who remembers Propaganda?

Probably the foundation for all modern ski movies, I watched this every day in high school. Just look at the all star line up, a lot of these dudes still kill it. Check out the intro segment:
=related

On a side note, does anyone remember what segment used this song:

I think it was in propaganda, but I can't remember for sure.

yes i rmember propoganda. And I remember your icon from wayyy back.

not sure what seg used that track though. All i remember from Propoganda before peeping that footage was Kottonmouth kings tracks... haha wow.

how could I forget Propaganda or Freeze?

I consider 13 to be the first modern version of what ski movies have become. Propaganda was more down the line, and Degenerates was even earlier.

still my favorite movie, god only knows how many times i watched that shit in junior high. i need to digitize my VHS version haha

oh and that de la soul song is from happy dayz actually, pep/philou's segment. good segment!

Propaganda set the bar so high because it started the artistic movement of ski segments. But at the same time, they kept the friends, fun and tricks mentality of those years.

Freeze got so involved in skiing. They were like the NS today, but like 10 years ago.

Such a great ski movie! Definitely one of those legendary, timeless films. The first ski film I ever got was Ski Movie, but the second was Propaganda and I loved it just as much. JP doing the loop, Anthony B hitting urban on K2 Enemy's, Vinny D's huge mute 180's, Mike Nick and EP with the slowest most stylish spins, so many sick segments. Damn I love old ski movies.

Here are a few more segments. Also, how could I forget about Paul Cotter's backflip to rail? That was one of the craziest, most groundbreaking tricks done on skis.

Thank god you found this, everyone needs to pay homage to this part... as you said one of the all time great segments.

Seriously, Liu Kang 9s.

tanners segment in session 1242 was one of the first i remember that kind of shaped the modern freeskiing image. i remember seeing the cork 3 at 2:48 and thinking it was one of the steeziest things i had ever seen. could still be perhaps....

propaganda was just mind numbing.. everyone started to realize what we could od on skis. Makes me wonder what happened to all these guys - they just kinda faded away I guess. I still have the shots I cut out of Freeze in my garage with these names on them. Not to mention, those clear triad regulators with the black lens - dope. Smith should bring that goggle back, I'd rock it.

holy crap propaganda literally changed my life forever. I skied before I saw the movie, but after I became officially addicted. Still throw it in the old VCR every once and awhile to reminisce. Things have changed bigtime - including me being too old to really be skiing park anymore.

Holy shit i'm so glad this is here...Propaganda was the first ski movie i ever bought....boyd's segment will always be ingrained in my mind...KICKSTART MY HEART! and Jon's segment with a fucking pennywise fuck the authority song? dude i love old ski movies...someone needs to find vincent dorions part and post it....ANTE UP fool

It was awesome and encapsulated for me that time in skiing when everything was happening so fast, and every day you would see something new that no one had ever seen. That was my second summer working at hood, seeing that crew shoot all summer, seeing the loop, that hip that jon destroyed, realizing that that kid on ski blades from the year before (Pollard) was actually the smoothest dude on the planet. Driinking with JF at Charlies...Ahh I could go on. It was sweet. I'm going to go watch it right now.

You could watch the whole movie on Freeskier.com years ago and it was magical. Every spare moment on the Internet in school was spent watching it over, and over, and over again!
