WHO ON NS PLAYS FOOTBALL?

Because I hate dealing with all the bullshit surrounding our program and how much of a commitment it is both during the season and in the off season. I didint get to play you guys this year either cuz of my knee.

yeah i care. if he didnt make the remark so against american football i wouldnta snapped back at him.

Except if you're in New Zealand, then football is Rugby. Though, much more often it's called "footy". Yeah, makes no sense to me either.

To me (I'm from England but live in NZ)...

football = Arsenal FC, Barcelona, Real Madrid etc.

soccer = I sometimes call football soccer but only when I'm talking to someone from New Zealand, Australia or America would obviously would need clarification otherwise.

indoor = this is short for indoor football (indoor soccer)...

gridion/american football = big pads, quarter backs, blockers etc.

rugby Rugby Union - eg. All Blacks, test matches

league Rugby League - If you're American you probably haven't heard of this game, the rules are kind of like a cross between Rugby and American Football but no pads are worn.

But yeah, I play indoor football. (and support Arsenal!)

I used to be W.R. but I can't do summer practices... so I'd rather play tennis and fuck around with that.

I'm a female, yes. What does that have to do with me playing football for fifteen years? I started as a second-grader playing with the fifth and sixth-grade boys at recess and after school, every single day (rain, sun, snow, you name it). Obviously, I'm significantly smaller (in muscle mass, not necessarily height) than the guys, but I'm agile and very good at playing my position. Tackling was interesting at first, but I quickly learned that diving for their legs is quite affective. Yeah, I have had a few severe injuries from playing, but most serious players have.

The only time I pee standing up is occasionally in the shower. If there's no toilet, the squat is key.

Unless you play for a peewee league or for the high school, there aren't any teams where I grew up. All of the guys I played with played for said teams, but my dad wouldn't let me join any teams because he's somewhat sexist, even though my high school coach wanted to recruit me. Lame shit.

And just to clarify before anyone makes false assumptions: no, the guys I play(ed) with don't go easy on me because I'm a female. I've been playing with the same guys for a decade and a half, and when we started, I wasn't too much smaller than many of them were (I was always a tall girl). They play rough, as do I. They'd dog pile me and tackle me just as hard as any other male player. A completely dislocated and horrible torn up right shoulder and then a broken back (on different occasions) were a couple of the results, the shoulder thing being the reason I can't play QB.
