Who Misses Freeze Magazine

With last months Freeskier sucking soo much... I look back and severely miss the days of ask Brad and Jibardy. Who elese wants Freeze back?
 
and hell yeah i miss freeze, freeskier is good and everything... but i'm not going to lie i subscribed to freeze and not freeskier,

freeskier redeem yourself and bring back Overheard
 
i was never privileged to read it really got into ski the year after they closed and yes freeskier is shitty this year
 
I have about 25 or so of their issues and have read them all soo many times. To be fair I have about as many freeskier. I had to make the switch when there was no other choice.
 
freeze was the best magazine ever. Axis was even better than freeskier. Right now the best one is SBC Skier but freeskier has better pictures
 
I am glad to see that there are some other people out there who miss reading a good interesting magazine.
 
freeskier is dumb because it's the same year after year theres a gear guide---resort/park--guide---photo annual(which is all shots from the previous year) -----and all mags are like 70% advertisements it's so lame
 
Freeskier seems to believe that there is not any snow or skiing outside of the Rockies for some reason.

I miss the fraternity and especially the Jerk's sense of humor...that is something that is sorely lacking in skiing right now.

Oh, and some how they were able to make stupid blow up dinosaurs cool!!!
 
Freeze was amazing. I think that its articles and sections always carried a positive commentary of the time, and were never too serious. They put into perspective why it was awesome to ski, and not about the "importance" of wearing the latest trend. Holmes' section dominated.

that magazine forever changed my life. i just got home from school one day when I was around 15 and turned on the tv and an ad was on for freeze magazine i knew from that moment on what i wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had already been skiing a few times a year with my family but this was my first exposure to freeskiing. once i started to receive them it was all i would do at school reading it front to back everyday. kids would make fun of me for skiing then i would show them some pictures inside and it would blow their minds. I still rep a banner in my room and harbor an extreme hatred towards transworld

freeskier would be a better publication if they realized they were shitty and took advantage of it
 
i deffinately do miss freeze.. i subsribed to freeze a couple years ago and the first issue i got was the final issue.. i was like uhh shit.. then they sent like skiing magazine or something nowhere near as cool to make up for it. i hated it
 
Was for sure not the best part of the mag. Ask Brad/Jibbardy/Articles that didn't make you want to pull your hair out for sure.
 
Fuck I miss FREEZE so much! I still have a few issues that I've kept, I would kill to have that magazine back in business. Nothing against Freeskier, but I definitely miss Freeze.
 
strange you brought this up, at borders today i picked up a freeskier and saw a nike ad for shoes..... to me anymore and i may get a lot of hate but i do not care considering all you people on this site could be figments of my imagination but freeskiing might have sold out, particularly freeskier. I mean i can remember freezes just being about skiing. Argh i wish i was not so hung over and i could actually have a good argument. ...hate away people.

Actually cheesedick, as one of the only people posting on this thread who actually supported freeze by having a subscription, and having on to freeskier, I can say whatever the fuck I want.

Same shit different publisher.

i remember being real young and seeing one of the first issues of freeze at my local shop the next day i had a subscription. it was an amazing mag that really made me turn away from racing and into 'freeskiing'. all that knew it, really do miss it.
