Who makes ARMADA

Today my shop owner told me the 07 Armadas are made in Austria, and the ski core is made by ATMOIC!And for the past two years Armada had been made by Elan also out of europe.
 
OHHH mann!!! what a surprise!! A shop tech I know told me this thing the other day... you won't believe... using the search bar will pull up 10 threads about this!

Haha, I love how some of these "core" companies are completely dependant on the "evil corporations."
 
I'd hardly call it marketing, unless they were using atomic's logo in their ads or something. I'd say it's a way to save money if anything.
 
Oh yeah, I completely agree with you on that one. I'm not really into the whole core scene though, I buy what I think is best regardless of who makes it.

Armada contracted Atomic to build their skis by Armada's spec's so your's don't BLOW UP slopestyle! Show some respect.

It's WAAAYYYY more expensive to have Atomic'c factory build Armada and they still don't gaff the end customers for it...trust me, I've been in that Atomic factory in Austria and it's sick!
 
Yo, alot of companys make shit for other companys. this is a small industry and we all have to work together to keep things going. Its all about getting your skis made to the best quality for the least amount of money. It is less expensive for armada to have thier skis made in a factory that is already making skis. and dont think it doesn't benefit atomic to know what goes into an armada ski. atomic twin haven't been the best for the past few years, and armada has been on top for a while.

plus alot of companys do work for others Elan makes more than half of the snowboards in the world and has for a while.
 
ehh, i hope armadas will hold up a bit better. everyone i know that had armada pretty much destroyed theirs in a short amount of time
 
Well I gusse it is time for every one to know the trought about Armada, no they are not made in Austria or any where in europe for that matter, it really is only an accedent that I found out, but I guess that everyone should know the truth about their favorit "core" company. I better start off with some back ground knowlage for those of you that don't know what I am going to be talking about.

My school is very old and was built during the cold war, and all of the class rooms on the 1st story have wiered trap doors in them, So me and my friends were wondering what was down there, and our teacher said that they used to be huge bomb shelters, but that they are only used for storage now and to acces stuff like pipes and the heating and other shit like that, well we did not believe her for one second. Well as soon as she turned around we whiped the door open and jumped down...

What we saw blew our minds, It was a huge factory down there with ten levels, and it was full of little asian kids no older then 10 making every tipe of core ski available, 9th ward, libirty, Armada and many others, and all these kids were smuggled out of north koria and china and are now working at 10 cents an hour to get enough money to smuggle their parrents ovre here,

So think of those kids and how much they want to be with their parents and go buy Armada.

Well I though I should let every one know the trouth.

This is pretty much the ARMADA that im used to. Hopefully atomic will do a better job, either that or NosNjection will have to lay off the hot sauce.
 
THe Elan factory is one of the bigget ski factories in the world. I've heard it puts our somewhere between 20%-30%% of the skis and snowboards in the world.
 
Elan is in Solvenia not Austria and not one "core" company makes there own skis.

If armada uses Atomic to press and finish there skis, that is good. Atomic make the highest quality product in the world. From what I'm toild, Armada designs the skis tip to tail including all materials. It is there own ski design that no own else has. It is easy to see since all Atomic skis are cap and Armada's are sidewall. They just making them the best ski possible.
 
why does everyone care so god damn much? i mean its not like atomic is fucking designing the skis and using there own material...its like this, u(armada) go to a welder(atomic) with plans to make a rail(ski) and you already have the design, wat materials to use and everything. all the welder(atomic) is doing is putting it together.. now shut tthe fuck up cuz armada is sick as hell
