Who likes to shoot trap?

the sport actually originated with english royalty. Generally it's considered a country club spot, but yes anywhere there are guns, there are rednecks. It's a good mesh of eye and coridation and dexstarity(sp?). Kind of like a big video game with the potential to seriously hurt people around you.

I've never done it, it looks like one of the most fun things to do with a gun though. I've always wondered though, how much do those little pigeon/target things cost anyways, it seems like it could get to be a pretty expensive sport.

not hard to do, hard to be consistent. real similar to bowling in a lot of ways. as long as you can shoot with both eyes open. Just put the ball on the clay and squeeze.

And it can be expensive, guns range anywhere from $99.00 to 10k, then shells are like 3-5 dollars per box of 25, then depends if you are shooting at a country club, gun club, or just buying your own clays and hand thrower, it's usually like 10 bucks a round to shoot at a club, and 20 dollars for a box of like 200 clays if you are shooting with your frinds on your own.

i went to trap range with my freind to shoot 12gauge...so much fun. i sucked tho cuz it was my first time shootin trap but still got 28 outta 50 or so. im used to shootin still targets like rabbits and squirrels!

you use a shotgun man, a rifle shoots one bullet, a shotgun shoots many bbs....doign that with a rifle would be impossible

D-loc, since you are always trying to make everyone look stupid, you are this time. If you notice in the second clip i load the second shell, as a shotgun shell flies out of the barrel. Get it right, dumbass. Hahahaha i just showed up d-loc.

It was pouring rain out, and we still wanted to shoot. We put the trap in the second floor of my friend's barn so it shot out the window.

we got a double barrel side by side 12 gage, and in the first chamber i put normal target load, and in the next somebody mixed in a slug with the target ammo. When I shot the second clay the thing shattered, and then the slug kept going and bore a hole into this tree
