Who knows Squaw Valley?

Mostly everything! ha ha ha. Im English and could be getting an instructors job. I was wondering what the pubs are like? and what else there is to do in the local area?

There are a few bars in Truckee and a couple in Tahoe city, which are the closest towns to squaw. And there are a few at the village a squaw. Other then that you can go to south lake tahoe, which is in Nevada. So they got gambling, bars, clubs, more stuff to do. Reno is even closer.

 
I think I will get a place in Tahoe city, cheap rent and I can get a hot tub!! Nice. I have got to drink the pissy American beer though, ha ha ha.

How long does it take to get from the top of the lake to the bottom?
 
I worked there last season. Its awsome dude a powder day there is heaven. The park is really fun to and the people is very nice down there so you should go there .
 
Cheers lads, thanks for your help. Im looking forward to sampling the famouse American charm in a resort. Im used to moody French bastards! ha ha ha. I need some good snow this season as well, had a bad one in Europe last year.

It's over 1,000' deep, so it's not an issue of time in getting from the top to the bottom. You'll be dead well before you can get even 100' down. Apparently there are plenty of other bodies down there, so at least you won't be alone.
 
pretty dead and relaxed except during the summer and holiday weekends, there's fun tracks in nevada to if you wana get into moto
