i bought an ipod classic off of him, here on ns. through messages i sent him a paypal payment on august 19th. on august 23rd he said he shipped the item and would have a tracking number from me later. a ton of messages and a few weeks later, no response of any ns messages. so i have a dispute to get my money back from paypal. anybody else deal with him?

Same happened here..I filed a claim and received me money back. I also believe that he was not a verified Paypal user, so he couldn't withdraw or use the money. This makes it easy for you to file a claim of non-receipt and get your money

Just curious why you would ever choose to do that over selecting a purchase of goods?
