who is the oldest active pro skier ? I know seth is 35, just wondering as i'm now 33. I have no intentions of trying to go pro, but any stories would be nice to hear!

Almost non of them are out of their 20s. There is more to skiing than park.

Does Wong count as a pro skier? He is pretty old as is Plake and the others people have mentioned. Pretty sure Nobis and Szocs are on the older side as well.

I really like this thread, because I'm 26 and sometimes I feel ancient when I see you younger kids tearing it up in the park.

Well, Mike Douglas in this video was 40; at 3:21 he says one of his last goals in skiing was to do a 7 at 40. Pretty sure the man still slays pillow and powder to, hucks cliffs, all the good stuff. So in the freeskiing sense of things, he has to be one of the oldest.

Now Plake and Wong and those guys, not really sure what to say about them because sure ya theyre still skiing and whatnot but I dont think there really out there charging that much, but maybe Im wrong. So sick to see the older generation rip it up though!

Well, define "PRO". Nobody here understands what that is anyways. If it is a skier getting paid money for being an athlete for advertising/marketing purposes, it probably is Wayne Wong, assuming he is older than Plake.

Would you guys quit worrying about how old everyone is and if you're too old to ski park. Who cares just go ski.View attachment 483314By the way i'll be 49 next month. Age doesn't matter until you give a shit.

Glen Plake is pretty old but as far as skiers go, my dad and his friends are all in their 50s and they ski more than 100 times a year every year

age doesnt matter. mindset does. Ask Radio Ron or the Hammer that and they will tell you. Stay young in your mind.
