Who is the most successful person professionally that you personally know?

I work at an exotic car dealership/ gentleman racing series... I have met quite a few people worth mentioning.
The Snow family, the heir to the budweiser fortune, the heir to the crown royal fortune, the franchise rights owner to all subways in western canada, the only female f1 driver to win a race and her husband who has designed racetracks across the world, many many filthy rich business people, many pro athletes.....
Most of them are pretty rock solid people once you get beyond the fact they are a tad larger than life. A couple of them I would consider great friends at this point. It is nice to know people in high places, sometimes you get dragged along on their coat tails and see some pretty interesting things you may have never seen or done without the connections.
Most of the time, the moderately successful people are the troublesome bunch... they have some sort of expectation level built up in their minds of who they are and what they are worth that sometimes eclipses their accomplishments.

Worked for some dudes remodeling houses way back and in three years they were tearing them down and building apt
Buildings. He's super rich now, last time I talked to him was 4 years ago and said he lost 300k in earnest money on a deal and said it was no big deal. Also worked on someone's house who was getting 400mil. a quarter on royalties off a patten.
