In most contries yes, they were, like i said being bad to different people like african americans, and Asians was ok. Everybody did it, but having slaves was not ok, by no means. There were no slaves in Canada, or in many other countries at the time.

Anyway, slavery wasn’t abolished in Canada until 1793…after the American Revolution came to a close. And even when it was abolished, the individuals who owned slaves before the abolishment where still allowed to keep the slaves. Slavery didn’t truly end in Canada until the 19th century.

Please get your nose into a history book. It might add some validity to your opinions.
