Who is the best skier ever????

tanner is definitely one of if not the best all around skier, he kills it in the pipe and park and charges hard in the BC, so yeah im going with tanner
 
see i really don't think he kills it too hard in the bc, i dunno, there are many skiers who rip way harder than him in the bc but yes, he is a very good all around skier
i think the best is danny kass
 
i say candide thovex, but this thread is more opioniated, also you have to say what type of skiing, just a general idea
 
yeah, of course there are a lot of big mountain skiers who are better than tanner, i was just saying that he is a really well rounded skier, top of the game in pipe, killing it in the park, and can hold his own anywhere on the mountain
 
In the last 10 years... for there times...

1. Tanner Hall, indefinately because of how much hes pioneered this sport today

2. Dave Crichton cause 3 years ago he was the fuckin man, and was easily the best pipe skier and destroyed the shit out of park... (only reason he didnt win X games pipe that one year is cause his ski popped off on the 10 he still landed it clean though but the judges decided to be gay about it.)

3. Mik D back in the day he destroyed everyone that year, and threw the cleanest switch 10 *over a transfer* i have ever witnessed, and fuckin oozes style like no other

Im a park rat so those are my top 3 someone who skis BC mostly may have a completely different opinion

It all depends on what discipline you favor... but as far as raw talent and dedication goes no question Tanner Hall. He slays no matter where he goes on the mountain... yes, there are a few who are better than him in park, a handful who are better in the BC, and a few who kinda rival him in pipe (but not really)... overall though, he is the King.
 
There is no "best," because as has been said already, there are different facets of skiing. Mark Abma and Tanner Hall kill it everywhere, and at a high level. Eric Hjorleifson kills it SOO hard in the big mountains, and can still throw down big cork 7's. Hugo used to charge jaw droppingly hard. After being broken for like 3 years, he's not skiing at as high a level as he used to. Then there's Seth, who's quite simply an icon.

Tanner Hall - Park, pipe, bc, bumps, he can rip them all.

JP Auclair - See above.

Seth Morrison - He is Seth.
 
T-Hall- for all around rippage

Jon O- For massive jumps and dub flips

CR Johnson- for big mountain stuff and getting through all the shit he has been through

best skier all-around or what??????? its such a broad question, and u do realize its all personal preference......................... but id have to say thall...slays fuckin everything from urban to big mountain lines to pipe..........best style ever: rainville
 
in order:
1. Scott Vail because he is god
2. Tanner because he slays so much and has progressed the sport so much
3. Jon because he is so well rounded, from double flips to racing
