Who is sick of people fuk'n with T?

I have no qualm with T. In fact, I've gained a fair amount more respect for him lately. But, I don't think you can say that newschool skiing wouldn't be what it is without the presence of one individual.

i dont have 2 like T, but i have 2 respect wut hes done for the sport.
 
Tanner is a great park rider. he can throw down on BC hits and off natural features. as for linking continuous lines together. he has a long way to catch pep, cr, abm and pollard. but for sure people have to get real and take tanner for what he is. a gangsta whiteboy from kalispell who can fucken throw down like no other. btw he was robbed at last years xgames. charles garnier one foot slide was fucken retarded.
 
hes the illest, so many people think so that the people that dont get pumped on what hes done, stand out soo much. But who gives a fuck, he dont care no more so we should be far away from even thinking about it. so quit wasting your time haters
 
I met him at the premiere of Pop Yer Bottlez and he was wayyy chill...He wasn;t a dick at all...and if u think about what he has done...he started armada which is one of the most progressive companies out there, he is now doing the C-Crew thing and is starting his film company...theres too many things to list. Awesome guy tho
 
Without Tanner would Armada even be around? How about the progression of style, it was because of Tanner that everyone actually starting thinking about style and its importance. I think we would be a few years behind if Tanner were not here.
 
yeah tanner is dope as hell......he just loves to ski and isnt about all this bullshit.....when i saw him in PC he was just lapping the park with his boys and having a good time, thats what its about
 
ever since i started freeskiing, Tanner has been one of my favorites, i dont understand why people dont like him, he acts ganster, so does every kid in a private school
 
i will agree this whole gangster shit has gone a little to far, but i still have mad respect for what hes done in the industry, hes opened so many doors for us.

look, there are so many other facets to newschool skiing that i think 'our sport' would be fine without tanner. it's great that he's here and such. but even if he wasn't, i wouldn't sweat it. so in conclusion, there's no need to be over-dramatic about this.

why would anyone want to act like a poor black person from the ghetto? have you ever actually been to inner city Chicago or NYC? i have respect for some of the people there because of what they have to live through, but i don't idolize the gangstas at all. think about what you're saying when you dress that way. i'm not saying "don't wear comfortable clothes", i'm saying "do you realize who you're idolizing when you wear your pants down past your ass thinking it's cool?" think about this shit.

im sick of everyone bustin on each other, why cant we just respect people who are into the same shit as ourselves. hes a fuckin ill ass skier, give him props, and if u cant ski better than him, shut the fuck up.
 
well said...honestly i dont like his attitude, but u dont see me ranting about it. seriously people, he is an amazing skier, and look at what he has done for our sport...the progression he has put forth, not only in tricks/skill/etc, but with armada, and trying to get the judging better. i mean yeah, sometimes he can be annoying, but who gives a shit..skiing wouldnt be where it is today without tanner.
 
hes the reason im here. i saw him on the x games back in the day. (like 3 years ago) and i just said. im need to start doin that shit.
 
ya last night i watched sessions and his seg has carzy and all his x games stuff was awseome to bad he lost last year but he will win something big this year

tanner has progressed the sport so much since hes been pro. Just let him be who he wants to be. how would you like it everyday hundreds of people critizized you for why you are.
 
I think you could say that acctually. His straight gold season pushed everyone to be better. We'd probably be seing Candide do cork 810 to rail next season if it wern't for him
 
Tanner is freeskiing's representative to the outside world. I agree if Tanner Hall didn't exist skiing would be different. I mean look at the X-games, who do they want to interview all the time? Tanner (this is mostly because he wins shit). But he's different from everyone else. You can hate that ganster persona all you want, but thats what kinda separates him. He's that bad boy thug that all the girls want and all the guys want to be like.

I think the T-hall dynasty may be a little on the downward slope though especially after winter x last year though.

I think he's good for the sport because I think anyone who doesn't ski can identify him as the defining body of what a freeskier is (even though he isn't). I guess he really helps to break the mold of the "faggot racer" stereotype. He wears baggy clothes, he has girls all over him, he smokes kilos of weed, and he has a badass attitude. I mean I convinced my non skiing friends to watch slopestyle last year and they couldn't believe thats what freeskiing is. People may disagree with me and think he's an asshole and thats ok. But looking at it from a PR perspective Tan is the man.
