I mean multiple x5's rich.

Like private ski club, parents bought you a new Audi for your birthday, christmas in austria, manicure/pedicure 5 course meals everyday, rooms in your house that you cant go in.

my parents just bought me a new yacht for getting an A in chemistry even though i already have one and i dont live near the water....does that count?

i dont know why people hate on rich people. I'm not filthy rich, but if i was, i surely wouldnt post it in this thread, because everyone will just hate you for it.

i dont get it, really i dont.
 
No one will hate on anyone because of what they are born into. We don't get to pick who are parents are. If we did, all our parents would be bill gates. Its when rich people hate on us who aren't loaded when they get the bad rap.

Has anyone gotten hated on because they aren't rich? I've been to a private club and if you wern't a member they totall shunned you.
 
my family certainly isnt rich, but i have never been told how well off we are. my dad built all but 1 of the houses on my street, and this house is descently sized. we have a big yard and a pool, an 06 escalade and 05 phaeton and until a few weeks ago a 05 tacoma. my dad belongs to 2 different private golf courses, both are nice, and my mom belongs to one of them. we have a beach house in North Carolina right on the beach, but we only own 1/6 of it. we live in hopkinton, ma, which is a really wealthy town. i dont know how much money i have, but i know that im not rich compared to a lot of people in my town.

these kind of threads piss me off. being wealthy, well-off, loaded, whatever socioeconomic category you may fit into does not make you any sort of predisposed kind of human. it also doesn't make you some sort of elite-alpha human. being raised a 'rich kid' doesn't mean you have some misconcieved view on the world, it doesn't make you ungrateful, and it surely doesn't mean you take the luxuries in your life for granted. sure there are lots of people who do have a lot of those traits i just listed but just because you have yahchts and summer homes and fancy cars doesn't make you a dick. the end.
 
I've never met a nice rich person. I work with alot of wealthy horse owners, and all they do is order the vet around, and pretend they know more than he does.

I also used to work for one REALLY loaded guy, one of the top 5 in vermont, and he treated me like shit all day. but he paid well, so whatever.

I'm sure there's nice rich people, I've just never met them
 
My dad's kinda rich. He loaned me $300 bucks a month ago and now he's pissed cuz it's taken this long to pay him back. I don't get it.
 
i wouldn't say i'm rich but i do have a lot of things i am greatful for. there are so many people in my area who are rich but just jerks to anyone with less money then them, like they were less important then them, i think that's crap.. money doesn't mean everything..

Im not rich at all, until 3rd grade I lived in a tiny 2 faimly house, but now we are doing better we have a medium-small house near a lake . . . Its funny how my Mom is a teacher and my dad a therepist and they only help other people yet in my town we have people who have done nothing their entire lives (except being born into the right family) and they are better off than us.
 
most days i'm at work, i do my shit for 8 hours and skip lunch before i'm too lazy to make anything in the morning and too poor to buy anything during the day. no wonder i'm so skinny...
 
some people think I am, and I would say that I am probably upper middle class, but not filthy ritch by any means. I got a 1994 BMW with 170k miles on it from my parents, an Ipod from free ipods, and my grandparents are paying for college and my computer and so on. if that is filthy ritch then I guess I am filthy ritch.
 
at ski camp i met a kid who's family formally owned the Celtics and then later that week his dad came to pick him up in his private jet to go to the Bahamas, he was rich and he was a dick.
 
why are you freaking out so much all he asked was if anyone was rich and he wasnt even hinting at it making someone less of a person. Not one person in this thread has said anything bad about being rich, you are a dumbass.
 
i think it's all about how your parents raise you. if kids grow up in a wealthy family that teaches them respect, how to work for money etc. then usually their not spoiled asses. but you definitely have the parents that look down at people not as wealthy as them, give their kids everything and spoil them to no end....then a lot of times they're the stuck up ones. and good god they suck to be around.

i know someone whos family flat out told her boyfriend his family isnt wealthy enough and he doesnt make enough money to go out with their daughter.
 
i live just down the street from someone with 7 cars (i think) elavator for cars, guest house, heated driveway... wtf? and a bunch more... Then there is a house that is hugungo... like holy fucking shit big, i heard it was around 2 million?
 
There's one family that I know of that are rich and nice. This one family (retired husbad and wife) lend us their car while their in Bermuda, let us stay in their house...Its sweet because they met the queen of england and the man got some sort of award or something. thats my neat story. But Im not rich.
 
I'm pretty sure almost everyone on newschoolers is somewhat wealthy... i mean we ski, skiing is a fucking expensive sport and to pay for that you have to have money...

my family isnt rich..but earlier in the thread sum dude was naming off their cars...sum ppl buy a lot of nice shit but dont have money...so u cant really go by that...but i duno..alot of ppl classify rich as many different things
 
im not, my parents have a dodge caravan, and a old ass plymouth voyageur(doesnt work). but my house isnt small
 
I used to live in Mass, so I'm kinda curious about what school you go to. I have a few in mind....

I'm not rich. I used to be very well off, and am not so much anymore, but that's not to say I'm poor. I've kinda seen both ends of the spectrum though.

i wish i was rich, but i buy shit all the time(skis, snowboards, mountain bikes, etc., even though i only bought one of each but theybwere still expensive), at the rate im going ill never have cash, but i couldnt care less
 
I hate people that flaunt there money... that just means there either a)not rich or b)not happy with themselves like i go to a really italian school even though i am not but these fucking guys try to act all cool and brag about the cars they have i just dont say anything
