I was up there last night. It was dumping snow, but super windy. the Red superskyride was swaying in the wind, and hitting the towers as it went up. They closed it at the end of the night, due to high winds. Everyone had to download via the blue skyride, which meant that there was at least a 45min wait to get down.
The worst part of it all was, after waiting in line for 45min, I was at the front of the line, ready for the next gondola, and about 30 people from the restaurant were escorted by grouse staff to budge in front of the entire lineup. What gives them the right? I belive the skiers and snowboarders pay more for a ride up the mountain don't they?
