all i know is he won a gold and he is a host for mtv shows and whatnot ... i have his ps2 game and he seems like a freestyle skier..but i havent ever seen a video with him in it...whats he so famous for...? id search the interent but i figured NS guys were smarter than anyone else out there
 
an olympic mogul skier. he's probably most famous for his "dinner roll" which was pretty much a corked 7 during his olympic run. it was the first time anyone did an off-axis spin in the olympics.
 
i give him mad props for being in the olympics but calling a cork 7 a dinner roll is just retarded, and he would have deff. got blown away if he did that run in the olympics now
 
Jonny was a innovator of our sport.

His gold medal run at the Nagano games of '98 was probally more widely known then his run in Salt Lake in '02. He did the first 360 mute grap in a mogul comp in the Olympics and killed it. Watch Ski Movie (the original) by MSP. If anyone hates on Jonny then there hating on this sport!!!!
 
he did a hell of alot for our sport. but i dont like him, because he is cocky and funny looking
 
i`ve heard hes a cocky bitch who is in this sport just for money... he has not the passion for the sport... thats what i`ve heard...
 
thats stupid. this is skiing. there are 1000000 better things that you can do if you just want money. you have to have passion to get up to the level that he got. sure, he sold out. but you would be an idiot not to.

definitly. if it wasn't for that 3 mute, freestyle would still be twisters, spreads and cossacks. that 3 mute was definitly one the biggest turning points in skiing of late.
 
did i ever say anything about 'expecting a skier to always be in his prime'? no. i simply stated what he is. a has-been. turkey.
 
well, he contributed a bunch, and yet is still a sell-out for mtv and all that other gay shit hes involved in, but he still did things for the sport and hes still a pretty good skier...oh yeah, he has a shitty ass video game
 
well he may have introduced our sport to many. But if he hadnt done someone else would have. The 3 mute was wicked cool, it blew me away. But the dinner roll, I kinda felt he changed a trick being done by freeskiers by just a bit to take credit for it.
