war was amazing. One of the best ski movies ever. I only saw ski porn once, so I cant really talk about it.
 
PROPAGANDA was the first PBP video i got and Happy Dayz was the last one i got...i like LEVEL 1's stuff more now
 
War is my favorite ski vid, I didn't think ski porn was that great, maybe because War was just that good.
 
i haven't seen any of the older ones, but personally i think war is good enough to tie with TBC. Ski porn was good too, but not as good as war.

Ski Porn is pretty good. I dont know about the other ones. The only ones Ive seen from PBP is Happy Dayz and ski porn but there both pretty good.

you are retarded. LSS was definently a step in a new direction for L1P, it was different than there normal movies but was way better than shanghai6 witch was also sick.
 
rfa was way good, 1242 is one of the best movies ever, and war was pretty good. x was lame and ski porn did not satisfy me expect for andys seg and pep too.

elements of all PBP films seem a little contrived to me.

i dunno, i just buy them still becuase the skiing is always of the hook. what bugs me the most is the way they edit there token girl segments with "girl" music..

ANT's part in X and Andy Mahre's part in skiporn are my favorites though.
 
War was amazing, Propaganda and 1242 are some all time favs, ski porn was mediocre at best, I expected it to be better.

recent pbp vids. you just named the last two years movies and then two years past that. what do you call recent.

ski porn had amazing footy. war had a few annoying parts but was sick, x had tony's segment and thats alll you need to watch. the rest of the movie had its pros and a few more cons. the older shit is golden.

i would say x and some of war were the only weak stuff
 
im starting to think you are the stupids person on ns. are you trying to get flammed? or just a bad alis. cause WAR was proble one of the best ski movies made latley, everybody loved it.
 
I completely forgot about Ready Fire Aim...that is probably the best PBP movie...Dave Crichton's part is where it is at
 
No LSS was atrocious, it was 45 minutes of the same urban rails interupted by the same BC jumps. I think there were about 15 different rails in the movie with most of them having at least 10 shots each. same with the BC jumps or at least it seemed like it. the movie was insanly repetitive and boring. the whole machine thing could have been better if they did not have 5 shots of everything that happened. "ok I have seen this domeno fall 5 times that was cool. I guess?" Ocationaly there were good segments (Stefan Thomas, Park Segment and Cory Vanular's) Further more the music choice was overall bad and unsuited for editing to skiing.

 
Ill probably get flammed, but in my opinion all the movies from all the companies from the past 3 or 4 years have been dissapointing, ski porn was real bad, candide quality is so shit you dont even see half the tricks hes doing, jacob has a one trick segment, vinnie dorion sucks ass, pretty much all the songs suck, and almost all the riders have mini segments, no new riders and from one segment to another doesnt flow at all. So please PBP ive been buying all the movies since happy dayz so make something worth while for once
 
I'd have to agree, LSS wasnt like Bermans past films where there was a great consistent vibe and 'soul' for a better lack of a word. High 5 was his best IMO.

PBP has had some great movies out tho, I really disagree. Propaganda and Happy Dayz are still some of my favorite movies ever. Sure, PBP isnt making TBC quality films every year, but they are good and consistent with their filming and 'wow' factor.

i would LOVE a movie that was completely based on style. i mean, look at tom wallisch's (i think i butchered his name) superunknown, the kid fucking killed it with style. it was insane! amazing skiing, i probably watched it 763489 times. id much rather watch someone do some sick lines, THROUGH THE PARK, with amazing style (pep and andy anyone?) then watch someone rip it up in the bc

sure bc is cool, and super sick, but im so sick and tired of 'park not being cool anymore'. it's bullshit

a lot of people can ski the same pow, but who can sw 270 on, bs sw up, pretz 270 out, looking absolutely flawless and effortless. yah, exactly

but maybe i feel this way because im a huge park rat stuck on the east coast. i dont know
 
^ Yeah, I watch a snowboard movie and there are zero park shots. Sure a lot of the shit is insane, but I don't think it should be like that. I love seeing a skier tear through a park and after a while it does get boring.
 
wski106 was good. You have to look beyond the radio show thing(which was kinda funny sometimes). Pollard, Rory, T hall, Dash, CR all had really good segments.
