Who is in the wrong here?

some lose their brains when they drink heavily.

people need to take the proper steps BEFORE getting annihilated to make sure they make the right decision later in the night-- ie: giving someone else their keys, calling a cab, not driving to begin with...etc. But I don't judge this kid for doing what he did, it was a poor decision and everyone makes poor decisions. Hopefully he won't make that decision again, but the judgment in this thread is just irritating. No one is perfect, and everyone has regrets.

Not gettin mad at you for drivin under the influence cuz I do it all the time from my friends place to mine its like a minute drive and its all residential road. I tink your a fuckin idiot however for messin up your chances of gettin lucky. I mean, from what you've said, I picture you sleeping in a quiet room on a couch and waking up to some girl drawing on your face. From the sounds of it, it was just you and her meaning she was tryin to flirt with you, but instead of playin along and turnin it into somethin, you pulled a 3rd grade move and got into a fit. Then to top it off you drop a GIRL an angry mesage when you got home to prove you made it ok and to let her know you got a little butthurt. So yeah your in the wrong, for getting upset over nothing

IF YOU KNOW that you are so irresponsible when you drink, then for the love of god stop drinking.

i dont give a fuck whether youre always in fights when youre drunk or driving when youre drunk or doing other fucked up shit. you know that this happens when you drink, so just stop drinking.

thats not an excuse. i could drop two bottles of vodka right now and shoot someone right before it kicks in and i get a "get-out-of-jail"-card. similar stuff.

i too like to drink every once in a while, but going so far that you dont know what youre doing is irresponsible when youre aware of past incidents.

being drunk shouldnt be the excuse it is for various stuff, including murder. at some point in your life you know how you react under alcohol and if you still go over the limit and do some stupid shit, youre responsible for it.

yeah but no one gets a get-out-of-jail free card for killing someone while under the influence.

i am not a lawyer and i find it hard to deal with legal topics in english since idk all the words, but in germany and austria there is for sure the possibility to avoid jail even for major crimes when being an alcoholic for example
