Who is gonna open first?

so who is probably going to be the first to open? a basin or loveland? someone said last week that loveland was opening next weekend (oct 6th-7th) but it really doesnt look like thats gonna happen. though does have alot of snow already.
 
Copper says their going to start making snow the same night Loveland does (did?) which could mean that they could be in the competition .... but.... Copper likes to chuppa huge balls and publicly stated that would only open early for racers, leaving their loyal riders and pass buyers to wait until just about Thanksgiving.

Opening early for stick chasers ... another reason not to buy a pass to Copper.
 
last year they opened the 13th didnt they? and they got like just as much snow as they did this time last season, so i doubt its gonna be late october.
 
a-basin better open on the 13th... its the time of year when i really need to ski, even if its a couple small rails...
 
i heard today that theyre trying for the 12th. last year it was the 17th if im not mistaken but i would be stoked to be skiing in 2 weeks
 
copper opens nov2 littleton posse ripper.

abasin and loveland should be 10/19 unless we get snow

key and breck are 11/9 and won't move no matter what most likely.

I can't wait I gotta start bending brakes and mounting skis.

 
abasin and loveland are definatly opening earlier than the 19th. i drove by loveland today and they have a shitload of snow already.
 
i heard from someone that actually works for a basin that they are planning on next friday,  i saw it today and it almost looks like they could open now!  loveland is doing good too but they dont have much snow around the base yet.
 
Frost on the car early this morning in Golden! Any snow up there on Sunday? Opening on the 12 would be a great way for me to work off my hangover from the Great American Beer Fest Thursday night
 
I guess i will just have to ski tomorrow. does anyone know what the temps have been during the day up there?
