Who Is Emo

man so many kids are influenced by rap music. they listen to how its cool to steal stuff and so they go out and steal stuff. i've seen kids who listen to rap and they act and talk as if they are a black gangster living in compton. but yeah i do agree that emo kids will be more inclined to feel depressed as well. the problem with any style of music is that people don't know when to draw the line. when you listen to music (unless anti political) you have to realise that it is just a fantasy and not realistic. once someone can realise that then they can respect other styles of music. i listen to emo, in fact more than half the time i have an emo cd in my cd player. but the thing that keeps me sane is that i know it isn't real and it's just music. i don't know what genre of music you like, but if you understand that it isn't real and don't follow mainsteam marketing then props to you, but just remember that music is a way for artists to express deep feelings.

i pretty much only listen to rap, ive been listening to it all day. i dont get influenced by shit i hear or watch or play like stupid fucks. but im sure there are plenty are ignorent people who cant control what they do and need to play it on something. so if i go slit my wrist most of you will say he must be listneing to emo, it has nothing to do with my family situation, my friends or lack there of, or things that have happened in my past. and if this stuff really happened to me and i want to express it thru music because i have a musical talent let me. dont critizie shit you have no idea about you iggnorant fuckers
