Who is Andreas Hatveit riding for ?

you`re right he´s not on the site... what is rossi doing with their best athlete`s?... they`re to freeride oriented... and kye is the only one i really like from the team...

ahahahaha god damn it coreUPT!!! next thing you know they'll have probably have something like TJ and Candide on their team!! lulllzzz

oh wait....

Haha, he was being sarcastic.
Rossi might not have put him up because they know he's not gonna be able to ride this season.

Rossignol were doing pretty badly financially this year weren't they? Quiksilver sold them back to the original owners for significantly less than they paid originally. They maybe didn't have enough money to pay for a large team of pro riders?

*COUGH COUGH* Vanular isnt on the Dynastar website anymore either... but thats probably cause Dynastar owns Coreupt and there just gonna put him on that team?

i think its pretty funny how every time there is an article about a new coreupt member, someone finds out that there is another rider that isnt on the team they were on last year. then a month later another coreupt article comes out that they are on their new team.

and coreupt just used the dynastar molds, who cares. they make the team first and give them skis with custom designs, then next year they get full pro model skis

NO.

I'm getting tired of reading this over and over. Dynastar does not own Coreupt.

Coreupt is just using the same molds as Dynastar for this season. From what I've heard they will have their own molds for the next season.

You think? I thought knee problems were big. He might be riding by then, but probably not competing or filming. TJ went out about January, and he just started skiing again this July, and he wasn't even able to ski hard.
That's 6 months, so Andreas might be able to do some spring shoots, but likely not any big time winter stuff.
Hope that's not the case though...

I'm going against the crowd here and saying thats complete bullshit. How does a company that hasnt sold one pair of skis yet just magically have the best pro team out of any other company right now. Do you know how much cash flow that takes? I think Dynastar is trying to rebrand themselves in the ski industry as a new, trendier company cause when you think of dynastar you think about old geezers running the company. Dynastar has consistently become less and less popular over the last couple years because of all the new 'younger generation' ski companies to come up like Armada and Line. If I'm right and Dynastar is trying to rebrand they would never tell you because then you'd associate CoreUPT with Dynastar and that would be the last thing they'd want because most of there sales are based on the company image, and coreUPT is killing image right now, they have the best team, that means when little johnny is trying to figure out which skis to buy he'll just be like oh the best skiers use those ones so maybe I'll be able to get that good using those.

Anywho thats just my rant, makes a lot of sense to me, maybe not to you. peace.

I completely agree. I honestly think there's no other explanation for a company popping out of mid air with more funding than the mcdonald's snowboard team than a rehash of an older company.

im not sure about Andreas but I know rossignol is having money problems. I was reading an interview with JF houle and he sounded pretty upset with rossignol. They had to cut their clothing line because they were losing money and so he got dropped by them. He said that leaving the orage team for rossignol was the worst decision he has ever made in his skiing career. Andreas might have been let go cause they couldnt afford him. who knows. It would not surprise me at all if coreupt picked up Andreas.

it does make sense, except for the fact probably no ski company, even one such as dynastar could not afford to acquire that many pros from other companies and still have enough left to produce skis... Yes, they are probably doing profit share depending on how many pro models they sell etc etc... but they still need some massive investment from businessmen outside the ski industry, such as french milk company owners.

JF Houle was dropped by rossignol lately, because they said did not have "enough money" to pay him. He is now looking for a new ski and clothing sponsors and cannot go to Icer Air because he has no finnancial support... sucks big time.
I don't know about Andreas, but I would be ready to bet my balls that Rossi also dropped him.

hmm i dont know about that... i think andreas is one of the best park/rail skiers if not THE best. he absolutely slays it in his video parts on both handrails and jumps. and it would be a dumb move on rossis part to drop someone that good.
and also, he won the x games last year so i d doubt they d drop him after that as well. but you never know..

man, JF has been making some of the best videoparts since he's in the game. Plus he won USO slopestyle last year and WSI Big air... so they are letting go their best riders or they'll be going bankrupt in a few years!! hahah fuck rossi.

that sucks for JF and Andreas. they should look for another company that doesnt have alot of well known/good pros, like atomic, elan, volkl, fischer. they would be better off on one of those teams.

atmoic and volkl definitely have alot of good and well known pros. fischer is getting there, with spriggs now on fischer. no comment on elan

andreas is as tought as it gets and I,m pretty sure the fact that he is so athletic and dosnt smoke or drink alcool will help him get back on skis sooner then anyother pro skier with drinking/smoking habit
