i'm watching the news and they are talking about people camping out for this thing. is anyone here actually going to get it. some news channel figured it out and with the cost of the phone and plan it's going to be about 2000 dollars for the first 2 years of your contract

iPhone goes on sale at 6:00 p.m. (local time) on Friday, June 29 and will be sold in the US through Apple’s retail and online stores and AT&T retail stores. iPhone will be available in a 4GB model for $499 (US) and an 8GB model for $599 (US), and will work with either a PC or Mac®. All iPhone monthly service plans are available for individuals and families and are based on a new two-year service agreement with AT&T. Individual plans are priced at $59.99 for 450 minutes, $79.99 for 900 minutes and $99.99 for 1,350 minutes. All plans include unlimited data (email and web), Visual Voicemail, 200 SMS text messages, roll over minutes and unlimited mobile-to-mobile and a one-time activation fee of $36. you guys are dumb, iphone is not just a phone, its fucking everything all in 1. Like a mp3 player and video and phone and internet and mac osx
 
Oh, I just realized that I wasn't making my choice for skis obvious. I would choose skis too heh.
 
if anything, i would get the htc touch. buy it unlocked so the monthly rate could be easily 30$
 
its like the ps3 it was really hyped up but did anyone really get it? Allot of the gamers who couldnt afford a ps3 just got an xbox 360.
 
my boss is getting it as soon as it comes out but I think that it is a compleat waste of money. I do not understand why cell phones need all this shit like internet on it and all that.
 
i would break it in the first week of having it and i am a big fan of my cell phone actually being a PHONE
 
what no way? 8 gigs is all? thats a rip off, especially if one of the biggest components is music, i need more gigs than that, and then vids? boo
 
nah. ive bought all my own ski stuff since i really got into it in middle school. my rents are pretty cheap too.
 
oh, my bad. i didnt really know what it was. i thought it was just a phone? hey guys, turns out the iphone does more than just make calls! WILD!
 
i wouldn't get the first generation

apple doesn't really have any experience with phones

there are most likely going to be some bugs

also, kinda pricey
 
wow, just becuase it has the I infront of it doesn't mean its gods gift to man. there are plenty of phones that are equal or more reliable and have better features.

im not saying anything bad about the revolutionary stuff that it does have in it. but in the end its only a glorified smart phone. does it have office suite in it as a program for word, excel, outlook?
