i only hike to get to something, its wierd. i love the feeling of it, like way out in the wilderness, but i cant just go for a hike, i only do if i have my skis on my back and i know im going somewhere sick

Nice I wish I brought a camera with me on my backpacking trip two weekends ago. The Unita mountains are off the hook, we hiked all weekend to the coolest place I've ever seen in my life and didnt see anybody the whole weekend. I was supposed to go again this weekend but my hikin patna fagged out. Maybe next weekend its already been snowing up there though :C

that sucks about hte partner, the very top pic of three fingers was amazing because i haven't been abouve the clouds that much. spending the night would have been incredible, seeing the sunset and rise on the clouds and peaks, but it was awsome none the less. cant wait for my next trip

I hike a lot around here. I'll post some hiking pictures that my hiking buddy took during some of our hikes.

I live in Colorado but Utah is the absolute best place to hike because of the solitude; I've been on week backpacks into the Uintas, Canyonlands, Dixie, and Dinosaur Monument. Absolutely spectacular.

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!
 
I hike in the mountains of georgia and north carolina, and tennesee. The smokies are pretty cool. I've hiked up mt. st. helens, which was the coolest hike I've ever done. I've also hiked up wizard island in the middle of crater lake in oreon, and it is also, a very cool place.

 
I hike various portions of the Appalachian trail, some pretty nice places for being on the east coast. One of my favorite hikes, Mt. Moosilauke. By the way i didnt take these pictures.
