Who Here's Had Gear Stolen?

I've had 2 bikes jacked on separate occasions! Thieves should be made more of an example!! A public whoopin' & visible tattoo might serve as a more effective deterrent than fines & possible jail time. We can include the jail time though.

What have you had stolen? Any good recovery stories?
 
i have just had hoodies, goggles and junk stolen. Nothing too big. But if your on a college campus with your bike, make sure you keep it in your room overnight, i know kids that have had $2000 downhill bikes jacked never to see them again...
 
yea dude a couple weeks ago i was skiin and this guy stole my oakley jacket right off my back..never saw it again..
 
some little 13 year old homo stole my crowbars at my home mountain. i know who he is but i havent seen him yet to get them back.
 
way back in my younger years (grade 1) some motherfucker stole my gamegear. it was so devastating, sonic the hedgehog was the shit
 
Poles are a BIG target! A lot of times it's dudes who get their poles jacked who're stealing other people's poles, just out of sheer pissedoffedness! Uh...that ain't cool either!

As good an outcome that can happen is the conversion from boarding to skiin'! :) Talk about making super tasty lemonade!
 
i got my board stolen a few years back, then the kid who stole it gave it to my friend to borrow meanwhile i was going with my friend to the mountain. soo, i just stole it back.but now i ski. (:
