too pussy there...mine are stiff as fuck, maybe its my mounting or something, but fuck man mine are stiff as fuck for me. Ive tried like so many other skis today from my friends and found that like the PE's, Scratches, Skogans, and 1260s are still way softer. Ten bucks says its my mounting. And I ski 171 to whoever asked about length,.

Pockets and x hot are super sick for huckin and pockets are grat in the park and everything in between.

Huck it and Giver, Don't turn unless stuff gets in your way.

i got a pair of the old blue 10s and i friggin loved em. they're still champin it too

i dunno but ive been told, u never die and u never grow old

I have pocket rockets and love them. I am bigger than you, and I love how flexy they are, and I haven't broken, or worn them out in 3 years and I don't baby them at all. They see rails, tables, trees, smaller cliffs, and groomers and I have found nothing to complain about, other than the price, but for 3 years of service, i think it was worth it.

What sucks about foam core? You think you wear them out too fast?

pros- light weight, damp, soft flex (if U like em' soft)

cons- too soft and light for high speeds, too damp for my taste, dead feeling, no spring or pop off jumps

boost

I got pocketrockets and I love em. They hold up to all my punishment, they are light, you can find deals on them easily, they ski park aswell as they ski pow, awesome for busting through crud. The only thing I dislike about them is they chatter really bad sometimes on hardpack. I chattered so bad the other day my ski ejected on me in a turn. but crossmax's (salomon) are the best skis for carving groomers at 500mph ever made in my opinion.

We pay our debt sometimes.

i have 2004 1080's, 171cms....i love them, the flex isnt bad at all, not a heavy ski, durable, the topsheet my scratch but it dosent fuck up the graphics, haven had a problem with edges

skogenjake: i got owned hardcore. i though he was a real little cunt

althought there isnt a TON of pop to the ski, thats the only real con i can think of

skogenjake: i got owned hardcore. i though he was a real little cunt

cheap compared to the 'core' companies, i had 3 diff sal. twins and one did delam, pretty good flex and i never had a problem wit hthe edges but its hard to say becaseu i have nver ridden another twin besides sal. so i cant compare. but i did notice that the ski had no pop and i wanted durabilty so i bought new MT this year

How dare you speak to Line like that. Line rules. Sure salomon came out with the first twin tips, but i dont think theyve hardly changed their design other then the foam core since,

pocket rockets, cr labs, and the 1080.. three weapons of mass destruction. Salomons are sweet skis, i love them, stand behind them, and most importantly, would never buy any other ski. and the people who rip on Salomon probably can't ski very well anyways! Its like a 'I Hate Salomon 'Cause I Think I'm So Core' bandwagon, i'm suprised they dont have club t-shirts by now.

someone made a good point, if you land switch on your tails they said out due to the flex, i noticed that today in my switch landings

I dont support that company because they've had the same ski being put out for 3 years now, albeit this year with a new cosmetic, and the one time i skiied on them, it was a bitterly dissapointing ordeal. to soft, not durable, and they felt flimsyt in the air. furthermore, salomon bindings are probly the worst bindings on the market. nothing like having your din at 8 and having them release mid 360 mute on a 40 foot table, that was a treat.

You gotta want that cow bell.

damn it. that's why my skis always fall off for no reason at all. arrrgh, salo bindings.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of

arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly

proclaiming...'Wow! What a ride!'

i ride 720's there good but the tail is a bit short they are flexiable a lot. but it's cool. think they could use a cooler base then what they have. top sheet is cool cause it's yellow and orange

i've skiied on the newer 1080's and i think they suck balls compared to other twins i've used - they're too torsionally flexy, and are too quick edge to edge. they have that typical salomon trait where they skim around when you're going straight trying to find an edge, it feels like chattering but the ski is actually just trying to get on edge. they turn too easily for my liking, so i guess they're not so good if you want to ski with effort and energy.

i have pocket rocket's because at the time they were the only fat twin avaliable down here, and they're alright. good in slush, but i don't like the feeling of the ski underfoot, it just feels too weak and thin, unlike, for example, the public enemy which feels 'thick' and bombproof. whatever, i can't describe it. i think there are far better fat twins then the pockets.

i would love to ski the lab pro models but they're way too big, they should make them in a smaller size, that'd rule.

i've also skiied the crossmax and thought they were pretty crap - chattery as hell for a fucking skiercross ski. i do use salomon boots though and they're fucking awesome, so the company isn't all bad.

i had 720's and they sucked. royally.

SALOMON SKIS SUCK ESPECIALLY ALL SPACEFRAME ONES - I USED TO RIDE SALOMON AND I USE TO LOVE THEM UNTIL I SAW THE LIGHT AND THAT SALOMON ARE A MEDIOCRE SKI COMPANY MORE INTERESTED IN MONEY THAN THE SPORT

WHY SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT DOESNT SUPPORT YOU??

IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, WHY HAVE SO MANY BIG NAME SALOMON PROS LEFT FOR OTHER COMPANIES (CANDIDE, VINNIE JP ....)

a lot of you kids need to learn how to pop, the 1080s have an enormous amount of pop.

'WHAT THE WTF?!?!!?' -Armada420

I like mine. I got pre-spaceframe 1080s and 2004 PR's and they kick major ass. Of course I got TM's too, and they also kick ass. I'm not sure why you kiddies are so surprised when your skis get destroyed on rails. You want to slide rails, buy a fuckin pair of 2x4's and save yourself the money.

Oh yeah, and Simon Dumont doesn't pop very high last time I checked. Oh, and that Mike Douglas guy, shit man, he can't do anything...Oh yeah, and the Scream's are terrible. Seriously, who skis those...oh wait, Aaron McGovern. Yeah, he's a terrible skier. Jamie Pierre sucks too.
