Who here does more all mountain than park?

I ski both but I suck at park and usually only ski when the conditions are bad or in the spring, Rest of the time spent on glades and hucking cliffs

Im a terrible park skier so i enjoy finding side hits and going fast and jumping off stuff.

Me and rails dont get a long at all

Damn... way fewer park rats than I would have expected.

I usually only cruise through the park and hit jumps on warm sunny days. I'd much rather charge fun terrain and jump off everything that catches my eye.

I find I get hurt easier in the park and what is my health insurance covers shut so if I'm going to break my leg I'd rather break it dropping a cliff or attempting some pillow line way out of my skiing ability. And I always sucked in the park anywho. I do like to get drunk near closing time and take a few laps and tell and snowboarders and skiers who just sit there acting like they are about to attempt something then just slide through... idk maybe they are drunk like me on the other hand.

I've skied more park this year than any other year previously, but that's because there has been very little pow. In a normal season the majority of my days are spent in the trees and looking for sidecountry leftovers. I'm also one of those people getting first chair on groomer days before the park even opens, just so I can haul the corduroy and jump rollers. I also try not to ride park on days when conditions seem variable and extra sketchy, I plan on skiing into my 80's I don't need to be putting myself at unnecessary risk, but this also cuts down some of the days I could be riding park. Just the other day there was an inch of 40 degree sticky sun baked fresh pow everywhere and speed was wack in the park, so I noped out and skied the rest of the mountain. I'm also a pansy on rails and mostly stick to jumps.

I love park. I love sliding rails and hitting the jump line but when it's on on the steeps it's a travesty not to go shred the cliffs and steeps, even if the Alpine skiers give me dirty looks for wearing tall hoodies and baggy as fuck pants. What's exciting me the most at this date is going out with the homies and finding a nice urban rail to have a jam on for half a day! It doesn't matter what you do, if you have skis on your feet everything is fun!

I always believe the best rider is the one that can ride anything well. There are so many aspects of skiing... Some aspects are fusion of other disciplines.

Trying to get an idea if NS is 100% park skiers. I enjoy park but I suck at it and have hurt myself enough from sucking so I don't really have any desire to be able to do any crazy park stuff. But I really like all mountain skiing and carving and shit. Who here is more into all mountain than park?

Nah people here are into all kinds of stuff. There's a thread section for AT and backcountry. Idk bout all mountain but definitely big mountain skiers here

I am an all/big mountain skier for sure. But this season alone, I have skied more park than I have ever done in my life before. Moslty becouse of the snow contitions here in norway. Super Fun tho, learning how to rail and send bigger tricks off bigger Jumps.
