Who hates us more? Old alpine racing people, or snowboarders?

Ok, for some reason a bunch of people are getting pissed at this thread and I have no clue why. I think snowboarders are just as awesoem as all skiers. It's just every once in a while you'll find one or a couple of idiots who start talking shit.

And whats up with some boarders saying "the Skiers!!! They're wreaking the lips!!!???" They always carve off of them for spins. I think that's kinda funny.

But I guess some people have been run into by boarders... but isn't it the same for skier wise, like I'm sure just as many beginning skiers and guys riding switch not looking over there shoulder have hit just as many people as boarders have. I think we both have the same controll stopping wise, being beginner or skilled. Unless you guys haev a reason why boarders hit more old skier people then skier do then post it up.
 
That thing i posted way up there, I wasn;t saying it was funny about people getting hurt. I was saying it was funny how boarders and skiers should have seperate runs or mountains. I definitly wouldn't laugh at people getting hurt or liek someone said they knew someone who last there eye. That's just horrible. So sorry if you took that the wrong way... Im not the best at putting my thought on paper type of thing. Sorry bout that.
 
im starting to see more hate between newschool skiers, it seems these days that everyone is judging each other so much, if they see someone on twin tips its automatic for them to start thinking of they are better than them or if they have better equipment, i miss the days when there were so few of us that when we saw someone on twin tips we were so stoked
 
hahahahahaha I was at grouse mountain this weekend...had to pay some kid 25 cents to use his cell phone, I got it back though, tahnks if your here

but anyway point is...some fucking moron boarders were talking about how gay skeirs look in the park and how much easier it is to do rails on skis because you "just turn"

yes "just turning" is much easier than mastering the age old, long sought after skill of riding straight
 
ive had a couple people switch to skiing from snowboarding and i was in the park on saturday and was doing a little nosepress thing on a box and some boarder was like, "whoa, i didnt know you could nosepress on skis, that looks WAY better than on boards" but then later that day some snowboarder said to my friend "wow it must be hard telling your parents you're gay, cause you're a skier" so i dunno, up in the air.
