im not going to argue with you aussiejibber cause your right. i am very backseat in my promo. but this is a park video. my park skiing is sooo much different then when im skiing the mountain outside of the park.
 
yo buddy...why are you bashing a kid that seems modest as hell...lets face it, were not all pros on here, people just post shit for fun so other people can enjoy it, maybe you dont enjoy his promo, but thats no reason to single one person out and say they are whats wrong with the industy, theres lots of things wrong with the industry, and i surely dont think a kid that has skills posting a video of a style that he likes to ski is whats wrong with the industry. Maybe you would have a valid point if you said that the ninthward team disrespected skiing at the orage masters you may have a point, but to call someone out. The only thing that i wanna clear up is that

1. this is a park skiing video. Theres no backcountry

you can't base the way i ski out of the park by watching this video.

the way i ski in the park is much different then the way i ski outside of the park

i stand by my statement defending kohl, but im also going to defend erik (dynastarridergp)

when i met erik, he was also a racer. therefore he can ski. his last year of racing, he went to whistler for some huge race competition and did very well (i think it was second place or something?)

year after that, he quit and, like kohl, became a freeskier.

based on that story, you will see that they have similar backgrounds and that erik isnt specifically bashing kohl. and i do agree with erik and the creator of the thread about parkrats being all too common, but kohl is just an extremely poor example. as erik said, he didnt see the promo, he was just going off of what the creator of the thread said about park skier who cant ski anywhere else

and the whole concept of erik making an alias? complete bullshit. obviously the kid isnt afraid to speak his mind if he did so in this thread and received so much hate from it. i also remeber this mildly occuring in the young gun thread, though not to the same extent. so before you claim that erik made an alias to make some random ass thread, think about the post he has made before.

alright, so this was a huge, drawn out rant, but whatever, this thread should be dead by now. kohl is a sick skiier and his promo is nasty. erik is also a sick skier and i think youd all be surprised and surpassed by his skill level if you ever get to ride with him.

if kids like the park they should ski in there as much as they want. YOU might think kids should only ski 2 runs in the park but thats your opinion
 
just because you probably suck at park doesn't mean that should stop other kids from killing it in the park. you sound like one of those kids that sucks in the park so they have to talk shit like oh you can't ski outside of the park. and claim that you are a big mountain skier.

I meant taking freetyle to the BC, trying to imitate his style (big switch 3's and 5's) I don't ski NEARLY as well as pollard

i ski park. don't get me wrong, but i do ski "BC" when i go out west. but people on the east coast don't have the oppurtunity ot drop cliffs and ski big lines. i would lilke to see half the people from utah and california come to the east coast on a solid day and throw down.

and about bode. he is actually a sick skier. he can do like 7's and backflips and stuff. idk about rails, but if you didn't know who he was and you saw him skiin gin the park. you deff. wouldn;t say "look at that fucking loser".
