I dont. and yes fartface, you would win the bet. gt's wont get traction until early 3rd maybe late 2nd gear, and until then, they cant keep up with something so small and quick (not to mention powerful). by the time they get pulling, im long gone. trust me buddy
 
a kid in my town is 18 and he inherited his grandparents fortune. he has a 2005 wrx STI, a toyota supra, and a honda s2000. his s2000 is one of the fastest on the east. all of the cars are so nice.

if the mustang driver is worth two shits they wont be spinning through any gears. ive launched my buddies 5spd 00 gt plenty of times and with stock power they catch pretty easily. but going stock for stock with decent drivers i would give the s2000 the race. i drive a mustang and ill defend them til i die but i will admit that a huge number of mustang drivers are the biggest ricers. they get the car thinking its so fast (when they arent all that quick stock) and then cant drive worth shit and think they can take anyone on the roads. there are so many though that you will be caught by the ones who dont leave the cars stock and can actually drive.
 
^yes sir. ive yet to actually drive a gt, but i think that might be a good thing to look into. i cant get over how sweet the exhaust note is with some nice american thunder catbacks put on. :]

theres a 99 cobra for sale at a local dealer for 11,500 with about 75,000 miles. im going to test drive that baby just for fun. if they let me...

I have nothing right now, I just sold it.

My first car was a 1986 VW Jetta GLI. It wasn't very quick, it couldn't beat most of the cars on the road, but it was fun as hell and I love it. It went from a $300 beater at a local car lot to a pretty decent car with more stories than I can remember. New seats, repainted sections (colours matched), refurbished wheels, everything totally cleaned, and a stereo to give me a hardon (not just "subs and an amp", a full out beautiful sounding system with a great front stage).

Shit I miss it.

After that died (a gasket went one morning, it lost its oil, that's the end of that) I bought a 1991 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo. This is a car that could actually beat a lot of cars out there, but was not the car for me so I sold it and am hoping to get another Jetta.
 
Ive been on both sides of that racing mustangs, beating one is awesome because the drivers are usually soooo pissed to lose to an import, even a fast one. That being said i have been tooled by a super fast mustang, yet feel no shame because i knew he was faster but wanted to see how much faster.

i have an 80-something oldsmobile cutlass with umm 80k miles on it, no locks, no radio, windows dont open anymore, no AC or heating, and best of all i got it for free beat that bitches!

ok so im driving off my parents vehicles but I still feel pimp driving around in my 01 Astro cube van, then when gas is REALLY expensive I like to take out the good ol gas guzzling truck and accelerate as fast as I possibly can everytime I get the chance [/sarcasm]
 
first off you will never get a difinitive answer because you need to select some kind of category ie sports car, suv, import or whatever everybody is gonna have a favorite and it just so happens i bought my favorite 95 trans am.
