Baldy got around 12 FEET of pow from the recent storm system. I've never skied Baldy and would love to check it out this Saturday, but I'm also itching to hit some park features. Does Baldy have any manmade jumps or jibs at all?

HAHAHA no... they have nothing of that sort. You could probably find a good spot to build something though.

If you really need to hit some park stuff up, head around the corner to Mtn High. It's not the greatest grooming, but they do have some creative features.

Supposedly, Mt. Baldy has some good stuff to offer right after a storm but I've never bothered to go there. Like I said though, I've heard rumors from a few different people who I trust.

From what I've heard Mt. Baldy has some sick terrain - when they get enough snow. My cousin used to ski it regularly and calls it a mini Alta with all sorts of chutes and drops. I met the sons of the owner a while ago and they were skiing Mt. High for park. So that shows you how the Baldy park scene is going.

Rumor has it that tickets are really jacked up since they haven't been able to open recently years. I would have loved to check it out this past week, but midterms and mudslides prevented me.

Buy a $25 ticket at sport chalet, drive up there early, and get ready for a so cal skiing expierence like nothing you have ever expierenced. there are no park features but it is worth the trip just to be at this place. by far THE sickest mountain south of bakersfield...

I was told that people bought 3 pack tickets for 30 bucks at skidazzle and then when they got there were forced to pay an activation fee, and not like 5 bucks, in the 20-30 dollar range. But this was also from the guy who told me that they were selling tickets at the mtn for 80 bucks. I believe this was over mlk weekend. I dbout it, but wouldn't suprise me.
