Anyone else besides me and theDave have subaru's to make ski season easier and more fun?
here is mine:

I got a '98 Subaru Legacy Brighton.

5 speed,

bought it over the summer with 160 000km, got it at around 180 now.

it's green.

manual locks, windows, no sunroof, no roof racks.

right now the ignition is fucked so you can start it with a screw driver (shhh, don't tell anyone)

I love my subaru.

She had about 307,000 miles when I retired her. Original engine and all. Miss her dearly.

2000 forester+roof box+winter tires+air mattress in the back = rollin ski condo
Takes a lot of work, seriously never going to replace a subaru clutch again. Also have a nice sound system in it.

well its a 2.2 turbo so yea the exhaust does help

free flowing exhaust is very important with gains on turbo'ed cars. replacing the stock exhaust with a 3inch turbo back removes 2 cat's on that car and frees up like 20whp. and the sound of the boxer engine with that kinda exhaust is amazing. and they don't make a direct bolt on exhaust for that car so he more than likely took something from a wrx and made it work, nothing wrong with that. cool car!
