Who has gone up in your estimations most this year?

This is not the same as 'skier of the year' or 'segment of the year'. I'm wondering who got you stoked who you weren't expecting to or maybe who you weren't really a fan of this year.

For me it's Hoji because he's always been there but this year was the first time I felt he really stole a segment, and also mad respect to Permin for keeping up with Sean P all season!

Since when is Eric an Ns hero? I havent even seen his name till 2 days ago on here and now its everywhere...But in all reality Sean Jordan i never liked him until weight

Todd Ligare killed it in One For The Road. I had never heard of him before seeing the movie.

Plus seeing his reaction to being invited to his first AK trip was really fuckin cool.

PS: Hoji always slays, and OP are you talkin about his segment in Attack of La Nina? gotta see it soon

agreed. I never really liked the whole stept crew in general until weight. (watch it if you havent)

Permin is one of my fav skiers. He slays so incredibly hard. I haven't seen him in La Nina yet, but in the Way I See It he goes the hardest of everybody. The stuff he drops is INSANE. And besides being awesome in the BC, he can kill it in the park too. Super versatile, underrated skier.

i aint gunna lie Shea Flynn really impressed me this year. I always thought he was decent, but this year he really stepped it up

His name used to be way bigger on here back in the day. Popped up again quite a bit after that movie he hit the massive jump with bushfield and abma (I wanna say push?)

T-HallBecause he kicked the pain med addiction and came to the much needed realisation that he isn't the best thing since sliced bread

Sean Jordan was sick in Weight, Josh Stack and Leigh Powis were nowhere on my radar, and Alex Bellemare killed it. Probably those four for me.

Mhmm well i grew up watching msp films so that might give you and idea...And i know for a fact i didnt like sean jordan its called an opinion but this year everything came together and i love his segment.

Permin has been under the radar for me and it wasn't until 2 days ago when I was watching The Way I See It that I realized how versatile he is. He was invited on a big mtn trip and the alyeska jump shoot. Very impressive.
