Who has experience with boujou and after effects?

Why would you want to use Boujou with after effects? Boujou is one of the best 3d trackers and would normally be used with somthing like Maya, 3Ds Max ect. Now you could use it to export data to after effects, but with After effects not being 3d, it sort of defeats the point of using Boujou. More then lickly you can get the track you require with Mocha inside after effects.

What are you trying to track, and what are you trying to do with the tracking data?
 
well i use boujou for both 3d max and after effects so since i already have it for 3d max i just use it for after effects too, im trying to do a stromotion effect and im following the tutorial below, after i track the footage and do everything the tutorial said i get to the point where i have to turn it into a 3d layer (4:00) my mask just disappears, idk if anybody can help but its worth a try, maybe ill try the tracking software plugin for after effects, any help is appreciated
 
Ok say when you make the layers 3d the masks disappear. Do your layers scale up? Have you made sure you lock the masks. If you dont lock them when it becomes a 3d layer the masks wont follow.

Camera Tracker by the foundry is very good, and cheap. If you work alot inside AE its worth a look. Not as powerfull as Boujou, but alot simpler and faster for things you do in AE.
 
Also check you have the tracking data deleted from the duplicated copies. Should not matter but it may create some issues.
 
Yes!!! Thanks fixed it just locked the mask thanks +k, I think im just gonna get cam tracker and use though thanks
