who has broken their skis? what kind were they?? im just curious cause I never have broken any and I ski pretty hard like 100 days a year. even my original 1080s lasted 3 years before there were no edges left but they didn't break

 
I tore the bindings out of a pair of HEAD race skis when I used to race. It was in a gnarly crash where I got my face all cut up.

i have seen a few pair of scratchs break, doesnt mean there a bad ski, every ski breaks......

i've broken:

lines mn pro- cap came up near binding and core is cracked and visble

nordica beast74- last years had a defect in the tip

My friends have broken:

dynastar tm'/concepts- edges crack and peel off

salomon 720's- same^

i've seen lots of broken scrach's right behind binding they snap

 
i hit a tree and crushed the tip on one of my old nordicas, which allowed me to get free enemies, which delammed from all the overshoots i did, which got me free pes

i broke a pair of pow airs by delamming them like 3 times.. and i ripped a binding off scratches.. and this years scratchs i like dented my edge and it like crumpled up my base.. it's weird.. but i did it last year.. goddamn last year

When i was young and didn't know how to land the right way, I cracked a pair of original 1080s on the tips the first day i got them. I actually broke 3 pairs of skis in one season. Then i learned to not lean back so far

Mike nick 142's, cracked edges in 4 places, delam near tip, and snapped in back of boot.

Skiing is bigger than snowboarding. Espn just doesn't want to shock the people of plannet earth into thinking that humans can fly

i broke my atomic twins, i ripped the binding out of last years scratches, fixed it, then broke them in 2 pieces. I got this years scratch and ripped the binding outa those at windells. I also cracked my friends 1260s, i didn't tell him

I broke my enemys once and it took for damn ever too get them back so i got pissed and decided not to break another pair.

add me to the broke an enemy group, broke the tail just behind one binding pretty good, was annoying to hear it slapping against the snow on the groomers on my way down.

 
i've broken two pairs of line skogens. I split open the tip of one on a rail, then i got those warrantied and those skis started to split under foot from riding halfpipe.

i broke my first(as in first pair ever owned) pair of skis when i was 9. THe metal edges didnt go all the way over the tip of the ski and it cracked where the edge ended.

 
i snapped a pair of pocket rockets in half right behind the binding. landing a cliff with a steep transition. they just broke.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

before i got twins i landed way backseat on my rossignol saltos and i smacked my tips down so hard that one of the plastic tip protector things just flew off.....went like 60 ft into the woods and i never found it so i skied the rest of the season with a ski that had three 1/4'' notches in the tip...i'd post a pic but i do'nt have a digi. needless to say hooking my edge in those notches made me fall more than once

i broke both my airtwists behind the binding from doing a big jump onto a slushy landing and haveing them stick in the snow, i flew forward and the wiplash broke them. i broke a pair of concepts trying to land them switch in steep, deep, heavy powder. i blew out all 4 edges on my rock skis

 
a couple years ago i had a pair of rossi 9s slalom skis i was doing like a 35 footer at killington and overshot buy 15 - 20 feet snapped right above the right binding

I broke a pair of Mickey Mouse K2's when I was like 4. I straight lined this run and ended up in a snow fence and the things broke. I was so pissed. But then I got the Ninja Turtle skis and it was cool.

 
same thing happened to me with a pair of old dynastars like 3-4 years ago strodeo.

and then this year i dint break my skis but i totally destroyed both my bindings..dono how, but they got ruined hardcore

broke the heel tray in my bindings, broke the pivot rod in the toepeice, broke many brakes, delammed both of the pair of old blue 1080's, cap and all, ther glued and riveted them back together, delammed my first pair of silver 1080's, my second pair is well on its way

my old 1080s didnt like it when they went nose first into the pipe deck. I had to get down the mountain switch, was fun.

and i would say that the ski that broke the most was the old pow air. Those things snap crackle popped really easy. I know one kid who went through 5 pairs in a year.

lets see first pair of elans - ripped binding right out in the bumps, then the new pair bent behind the binding on a bad landing, next rossi 9s (204cm straight) snapped pretty good when i used them in the park, rossi bandit x got some pretty bad stress cracks. and now i am on my second pair of bandits lets see how long these guys take
